Isringhausen STRIKES again. Cardinals lose 7-6 thanks to Izzy's continued ineffectiveness in the 9th. He blew a two-run 9th lead as the Cardinals lose in 10. Pathetic.

This is officially PATHETIC. Bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th for the Cards with 0 outs, and they score 0 runs.

For whatever reason Isringhausen is still pitching in the top of the 11th and allows a lead off HR.

Cardinals avoid complete embarrassment and salvage one game from the series despite the bullpen allowing 5 runs (2 inherited) in the 8th and 9th. 9-7 Cards.

Fianlly a decent start by Marquis. Went 7 and only allowed 4 runs.

Pujols 3-5 with a HR (27) and 4 RBI (72).
