I generally dislike cardinals fans (though post beef getting banned the posters in here don't fall under the stereotypical cardinals fans), but a bandwagon Yankee fan saying anything about another fanbase is comical

If you go to a game in Busch Stadium, most fans will treat you with class and respect. The Cards fans that give the fanbase a bad name are the ones that go to their local Lids and buy a cap and put it on their head, even though they've never set foot in St. Louis, let alone Busch Stadium.

Good luck to you tomorrow night, Vol2013. I won't be surprised at all if the Pirates win. They're very resilient and have great leadership under Hurdle. I feel better that it's at home and Wainwright is pitching, but it's the playoffs. You never know what might happen.

I'll give you that, have never made it to a game in Busch.

Best of luck to you as well, has been a hard fought series all year and the fact that it is going to game 5 is fitting. Were putting quite a bit on a rookie going against wainwright though.

Matheny will have to make a decision of whether or not to leave Wainwright in or go to the bullpen. Wainwright bats next inning.

Pitch Maness in the 8th and bring on rosenthal in the 9th. Won't be surprised if Wainwright is left in though.

Congrats Vol2013 on a great season and great series. Keep your head up. The Pirates will be back next year and the future is bright in Pittsburgh.

So your Mike Matheny.

Who do you start game 1 against the Dodgers? Do you trust Lynn to have a good game or do you go back to Miller? Game 1 is against Greinke.

If you pitch Lynn it really needs to be at home. He was pretty awful on the road this year. That said, Miller wasn't any better on the road. Both had good records at home. Miller was on fire. 10-3 with a 1.75 ERA.

You don't touch Lynn again. Go Miller, Wacha, Waino, Kelly. Rinse and repeat.

doubt it will matter. Cards take game 1 and we take Game 2. The way it's setup has all the makings of it going the full 7. I just don't see us winning the 7th in STL
