But UCLA made the final 4 last year! Jay bilas says, who cares if they have lost games, everyone loses games! View attachment 434829
Yeah for those reasons I would add Vandy, Colorado and UNC to the rooting list. I think the Buff’s still have a chance to climb into Q1 territory, and UNC is slipping, not just out of the Q1 but maybe out of the tournament. The committee sometimes cites a teams record against the tournament field when seedingWe need Vandy to win a few more games. Our win in Nashville is almost a Q1 win.
Rosters get turned over year to year now. It’s a lot like football in the sense that every season should be looked at individually. I’m not sure why someone thinks because a team had great success last year, that means they will have success this year. Look at Oregon St.So many lazy bracketologists and pill voters out there. I’ve said it before but this is why Tennessee has flown under the radar for most the year. So many of these idiots combine performance this year with last year, too.

And I agree with Jay that they’re a Final 4 contender. But, to this point their resume says their run should start from a position lower than Tennessee’s or Wisconsin’s.But UCLA made the final 4 last year! Should add Memphis to the rooting list since Penny forfeited that game in NashvilleYeah for those reasons I would add Vandy, Colorado and UNC to the rooting list. The eye test’s days are numbered. Also, the next tweet in the thread said the NET isn’t valued quite as much as people are led to believe, but that it’s still a factor. Interesting insight into the selection process.
What you do last year should not have jack squat what you are doing this year. No way at this point UCLA should be seeded higher than us. No way no how! But things will take care of themselves. They shouldn’t be judged on where they could be but what they have done and where they are. They shouldn’t get a cushy seed based on last years results, that’s the bottom line. This is 2022 not 2021! GBO!And I agree with Jay that they’re a Final 4 contender. But, to this point their resume says their run should start from a position lower than Tennessee’s or Wisconsin’s.
