Any chance we drop off the 3 seed line after this weekend? I feel like our win vs Ky should outweigh our loss @arky by a large margin, but with the way that the polls have been this year, I wouldn’t be surprised if people use the Arkansas loss as a reason to drop us to a 4.

Almost certainly fell behind Illinois. There’s definitely a chance we fall behind Wisconsin and UCLA.Any chance we drop off the 3 seed line after this weekend? The Bias Poll? My faith therein diminishes every time it comes out. Much more faith in the coaches and metrics.NCAA College Basketball Rankings: AP Top Basketball 25 Poll | AP News
Tennessee actually drops a spot after its 1-1 week against Top 20 opponents. Ranking the Vols #17 is criminal, and Rick Barnes better have the team ready to beat the hell out of Williams and the Razorbacks when they come into Thompson-Boling.
I wish there was a chance Florida could climb back in the Top 30 NET but they’re too far gone now. So im a bit on the fence for that game. Yes it gives us some padding in the SECT standings, but tbh I don’t think the difference between 3/4 is very meaningful. In fact I think I’d rather play Auburn again right now than UK. And if Arkansas loses their next two, I’m not sure what chances they’ll be a Q1 game for us in Knoxville which would kind of ruin the only silver lining of them beating us.Tonight’s games:
Arkansas vs. Florida
Michigan State vs. Iowa
Villanova vs. UCONN
Oklahoma vs. Texas Tech
Kansas State vs. Kansas
Alabama vs. Vanderbilt

I see it as the opposite. If you’re worried about a loss to Arkansas then a Q1 loss at home is not as bad as a Q2 one. If you’re not worried about a loss then it makes all the other points moot.I’m less concerned about SECT seeding and more concerned about Arkansas rising the seed line list and challenging for a 3 or 4-seed if they keep up this torrid pace. I’d prefer Florida win and cool them off a bit, and then we beat them in Knoxville and end any chance they have of potentially being a 3/4 in the NCAA.
If Arkansas was to win tonight and then beat LSU and Kentucky (at home), our game against them would essentially be a must win if we want to stay on the 3/4 line I think.
I was also thinking the fact of NCAAT seeding though, they’re up to a 6 and getting a lot of love, climbing fast…gotta think a 4 seed is reachable for them which obviously puts them right around us.I wish there was a chance Florida could climb back in the Top 30 NET but they’re too far gone now. It might pad whatever downside we have in seeding, which is limited anyway assuming we don't lose to Missouri and Georgia, but a win by Arkansas I think helps our upside from a resume perspective. Giving us a better chance of picking up another Q1 win. On the flip side a win by Florida can help get to the tourney and giving us another win over the field.
