I always root for UConn, but I'm gonna be honest I would be really surprised to see them getting to the FF this year. I think they're just too depleted and are eventually going to run out of gas. And trust me I am the biggest UConn homer, but just have to be realistic. But if by some miracle they did get to the finals and met SC, SC would probably win. They're just way too deep and have too many weapons. (Not expecting any sympathy from this board though. 😋)

I'll be there tomorrow and Monday! Btw I would be happy to chat over a beer with any of y'all at the games if you don't mind fraternizing with the enemy for a bit. 😂

Yeah, I figured. At least I knew who she is.

Now, Mia Mastrov didn't register even though I had watched a few Cal games this year to see how Suarez was doing. Mastrov was a senior this year; averaged 2.7 pts in 14 min per game. There must be a reason she's #8.

Excited for the Iowa/LSU rematch today. Lots to look forward to in that game. The narratives with Clark and the entire LSU team being perceived negatively lately should make it interesting no matter what.

I suspect UCONN will beat USC. Geno is just too good once he gets to this point in the tourney. I don’t seem them losing to a team so heavily reliant on one player either.

That said, I do not think they have anyone on their roster who can matchup with JuJu properly. Everyone is either too small or too slow.

I don’t think they are as reliant on one player as you think, I’ve watched every game they’ve played this season. But UConn has 2 All American and USC has only one.

Dawn Staley has been at SC for 16 years now. She's been to the Final Four 6 times. Built SC from nothing. Man.. SC is just 2 games away from winning another title, with 5 new starters plus going into the final 4 undefeated two years in a row. If they can get it done that would be pretty amazing.

It is best to steer clear of declaring LSU a super team and favorite to win a championship next season after the display this season of them losing to average teams during SEC play. No matter who they supposedly is about to receive a commit from today. They definitely want the spotlight on them leaking news to two of the most untrustworthy Twitter pages on the day of the Final Four lol. I’ll give them credit for that this is definitely a hype machine like never seen before in WBB. I think if they get in CC head today they will advance to the Nat’l title game. If she keeps her composure which isn’t a given then Iowa will beat LSU. Either way, LSU clock is ticking and so is Iowa. It’s good to be able to look forward to some relaxation and peace without drama in the basketball world in the horizon for once!

I don't think so. Of course there will be drive by viewers tuning in for a cat fight tonight, which I'm not sure is all that "good for game". But as I've been saying, I think the contentious her vs her stuff is already old school and not very interesting anymore. Both Iowa and LSU are playing it down. I don't think either AR nor CC will be stalking ea other around the court to taunt tonight. I think that was a one off last spring, and thank goodness. The players who are the actual future of college women's hoops have no time for it.

Also, such a rivalary is very unlikely to carry over to the next level. I'd bet money AR stays at LSU another year, as she should. And when/if she does go to the W, I don't think her role will allow for a major rivalry w CC or anyone.

I am curious how Kim decides to guard CC tonight. HVL? FJ?

I will be at the Iowa/LSU game. Let’s go Tigers, I guess!!

I’m aniexty ridden over the UConn game. Even though I know that realistically a loss here — especially to #1 seed USC — isn’t the worst, I still am super competitive and hate when my teams lose. I would really like to at least see them get back to the FF this year. I threw away my dreams of title back in like November. But a FF would be pretty huge relative to this season. IMHO.
