Official what games to pay attention to thread...

We should be cheering for a UConn rout of West Virginia.

Also, Pitt doesn't stand much of a chance vs. the Hoyas, IMO

Seton Hall/Louisville will probably be a close game. I hope the Cards can eke it out

Absolutely. I'm hoping they rip off a big east run like last year.

Pitt isn't likely to win but who knows.it doesn't hurt to cheer for them.

This describes my issue with UConn perfectly.

It's awesome that a 2nd W over WVU will clinch for a team with Ls to UCF, Cincy, Tennessee, Provy and Rutgers and a 2nd-best win of Harvard

The SOS argument should only hold water if you actually won games of importance. That's why I can't really get behind USF or Northwestern being in the field even though it's always cool to see first-timers/teams that haven't been in the field in a while.

completely agree

UCONN's not doing us any favors at the half, they are down, 30-26. Of course, this doesn't matter, got another 20 minutes of ball to play. Hope they pull it out.

Judging by the matrix (I know, it's flawed, but it's the best we've got), West Virginia may be in slightly better position than UConn right now (it also helps that their collapse wasn't as highly-publicized as UConn's). A WVU win might not be all that bad.

I still don't get why Drummond is a projected top 10 pick. What has he done other than consistently play slightly above average the entire season?

Potential.

6'11" and is a freak athlete. Many people don't realize also that he should be a high school senior like jarnell. The NBA drools over people like him.

I understand what you're saying though.

My predictions for the Big East bubble games today:

Louisville - 66
Seton Hall - 63

South Florida - 64
Villanova - 61

It would be such a South Florida thing to get to the cusp of the NCAA tournament and lose to fall out of the field.

Are you freaking kidding me, West Virginia?

Also, imagine if anyone on UConn cared half as much as Napier does.

UConn has the worst fans, also.

Oregon isn't getting an at-large bid. Cal and Washington are the only two teams from the P12 that would make the field right now.

Oregon's best non-con win was against #148 Nebraska. They have zero top-50 wins and two blowout losses to other bubble teams (UVA and BYU). It would be a complete joke if they received an at-large bid.

Lunardi is also about as average as it gets when it comes to bracketology. Wouldn't trust his word just yet.
