Official what games to pay attention to thread...

LOL!

Memphis is nowhere near a two seed.

What on earth does Memphis have to do with this conversation?

There is no way you're this dumb. Yet your delusion knows no bounds. However, I will try one more time. If Memphis had the current ranking and hype Mizzou has right now there is no way you would be calling it over-achieving. You would no doubt say it was Pastners coaching, because somehow you're impressed with it now. So pointing out your ridiculous double standards in this thread, as in every other one, is what it has to do with this discussion. Its annoying!!

Just coming at your irrational Missouri disdain from all angles, my fair gentleman.

Yes, but Miami is still Miami. As Kim English put it so succinctly, "Basketball is to Miami what football is to Kansas."

I'm pretty sure he was mentioned in the report somehow, and much like the football program, I don't really think much will come of it. I'm less than scared.

Because anyone who doesn't think this season's Mizzou team will do well in the dance must have an anti-Missouri agenda? I think highly of Mizzou, if not their current coach. I like Pressey and Ratliffe, the teams just isn't built for success in March.

If you're truly a Missouri fan, you should hope nothing comes of it. He's accused of paying $10,000 for the committment of DaQuan Jones.

As for Miami bball, it is what it is and it will probably be nothing more. Haith is Missouri's problem now though. They hired the guy.

Also, I hate this CBS Sports Network garbage with a passion. Already missed a conference tournament final that was on it and now I'm missing this. None of the internet streaming sites I know of ever have games from that channel.

Two of these attributes apply to Mizzou (reb/turnover margin is less than 4.5 and their SOS is 81). There's more to it, like the atrocious defense they play, but the odds aren't in their favor. I'm not hating, because I like Mizzou and they've been a blast to watch this year, but I just don't like their NCAA chances. Same with Duke, who has a rebound/TO margin at around 3, the lowest of any of the top 8 teams.

No offense, because I respect stats and understand they have merit and importance for predicting results, but if Missouri's only lacking in 2 of the 8 areas they list here, I don't think it's quite as significant of an observation as you originally thought.

Several stats-based lists could probably be compiled whereby many good teams would "qualify" for 25% of the undesirable attributes, don't you think?

I think Missouri could be vulnerable against a team like Kentucky or North Carolina, but I still feel like they're being underrated/underestimated by many.

Nobody said that! Its your "memphis is so wonderful and everyone else sucks and is lucky" mentality is what we are talking about.

Whats sad is you actually believe it! I used to think you did it on purpose, now I know you are really that dumb!

Forgive me if I don't really take your word for it.

We all thought football at the U wouldn't exist anymore. There'll be punishments, but I'm not worried about Haith.

As for Miami bball, it is what it is and it will probably be nothing more.

So it looks like we agree on that point.

I don't see you point. Anderson never recruited lights out at Mizzou. This is not a team full of first round draft picks we're talking about like Kansas or Texas.

If Memphis were playing at the level that Mizzou is, I'd be ecstatic, but if we had the same players, there's no arguing that they are overacheiving. I'd still find it troubling if Memphis wasn't playing good D or rebounding.

The deal is that if any of the attributes apply to the team, not a certain amount. Teams with any of those attributes applying to them have a miserable success rate.

Favorite development of the afternoon, in anything: Ron Swanson/Nick Offerman now has a Twitter. This should be good.

Ok bud, whatever you say.

Why don't you try to keep up with the conversation next time instead of just seeing a Memphis fan and nerd-raging.

Do we need to go over what "overachieving" means? I fear you don't understand the concept.

LULZ

That would be you bud!

Quit responding, it just makes it worse. Just read, learn, and apply!

Oregon State +12 on Washington. If Washington loses that game, I don't see any way they're an at large team.

If Washington loses, they're solidly out and they aren't really worth a flip this year anyway. So...go Oregon State!
