Official what games to pay attention to thread...

Lunardi has mississippi st as his last team in....wow

i just dont see it, i really do not.

their RPI is 74, so for all those saying our RPI will break records, well so will theirs

our Kenpom is significantly bettter 59 for UT, 82 for Miss St

our BPI is slightly better 63 for UT, 65 for Miss St

then add in the fact the way each team closed the year...

Tennessee Resume:

17-14(10-6)
RPI 85
Kenpom 59
BPI 63
vs Top 25...2-3
vs Top 50...5-8
vs 150+......7-1
Last 10......8-2

Mississippi State Resume:

21-11(8-8)
RPI 74
Kenpom 82
BPI 65
vs Top 25...0-3
vs Top 50...4-5
vs 150+.....10-0
Last 10......4-6

what part of mississippi state's resume is honestly better than ours???

No idea

and thats why i dont get where Lunardi is seeing miss st.

hell put in marshall or someone like that joe, but not miss st or washington PLEASE.

Lunardi isn't even one of the better people at projecting the field. He progressively gets worse each season. I always love seeing him get butt-hurt over missing a pick, but instead of acknowledging that he's wrong, he goes on some vendetta against the team that "sneaks" in.

Right.

Im just hoping that Siegel is spot on this year!!!

BTNO, thank you so much for all your info this week.

It's been extremely helpful.

St Louie lost...that isn't good.

its fine.

they lost to xavier, and xavier was getting in either way.

all that means is that xavier needs to win tomorrow. its not different than if st louis was to have won, they would have needed to win tomorrow as well to keep from st bonaventure form stealing a bid.

that game had no effect.

According to ESPN, the committee has already decided on its 37 at-large teams.

Curious as to how since Xavier is an at-large team if they lose tomorrow.

Should be interesting

My guess is they have that scenario figured. Well use Marshall as the last team, they probably said ok Marshall is final at large. However, if Xavier losese then they get the at large and Marshall it out.

IF XAVIER WINS...IMO it comes down to this....

The last four in will be out of this group IMO:

USF
MARSHALL
TENNESSEE
NC STATE
SETON HALL
DREXEL

I'm gonna say the last four in are:

USF
MARSHALL
NC STATE
SETON HALL

My homer pick is:

NC STATE
SETON HALL
USF
TENNESSEE

I think it really comes down to Marshall, Tennessee, USF and Drexel for that last spot.

I tried to quickly type out how I think this will go. I'm sure a lot of glaring errors exist, but I'm going to try to get a decent bracket projection up by tomorrow afternoon.

Makes sense. I guess you can know the 37 teams in some capacity with several different scenarios playing out...

FWIW, if this bubble team is left out I'm going to be mad...

20 wins
Top50 RPI
BPI is around other bubble teams
4-6 v top50
6-8 v top100

It's stupid that the names on the jerseys keep a lot of teams in the discussion. If a BCS team had this resume, they'd be a lock and comparable BCS teams are (Purdue)

You can't tell me other bubble teams match it, especially USF, Miss State, Drexel, NW
