Offseason OC and WR Coaching Upgrade

Receivers have been getting open - although there is still much room for improvement. Nico has just not capitalized, in large part due to poor pass protection. Nico also has periods of “overthrow-itis” combined with (yet again) too many dropped balls. I won’t bother to mention the habitual bone-headed penalties.

And at times the play calling has been mystifying - but perhaps that is due to the shaky O-line play in pass blocking.

When has Nico shown to have “It?” He ran out of bounds to end the Arkansas game and still has yet to throw for 200 yards and 2+ TDs in a SEC game. If anything, what we have seen so far seems to be a lack of “It.”
Your name says it all. If you've not seen flashes from him, I don't know what to tell you. Maybe football ain't your thing hoss.

I mean he threw for 296 yards and 1 TD in the Kentucky game. should have been 423 and 4 Tds honestly.

Heupel has never fired anyone
That is the book on him both at UT and UCF.
The other book is that he generally leads or is high up in penalties. Some would say that’s a sign of an undisciplined team.
We will know that we might have a GREAT coach in the making (and not the current GOOD ONE), if CJH will change these 2 things.

Uh, respectfully agree to disagree.
Execution is the key. Can't decide it's bad play calling after the play. We run the ball well. We've also had open receivers all year. We've also had some bad drops. I personally think we should run the ball more.
