'24 OH OL William Satterwhite (Tennessee)

I'm confused by the analysis of our OL recruiting. All I hear is we don't have enough tackles. I know Warren is a tackle target. But, can't Satterwhite, Ginther, and Perry play tackle? What about Heard? We got Bussell and Trevor Duncan last year. How come every OL that gets here it is immediately assumed that they have to play on the interior?

Duncan and Heard are starting out at DT but most people think that they will move to OT. Perry is a long term project like Brian Grant. I like Ginther and Anderson to play tackle though.

Oh I think we're getting him too based upon recent crystal balls, etc., but I don't think he knew fully where he was going when he announced his date. He knew he had two options he really liked.
1. Crystal balls, beat writers, etc. have no more worth than any poster here. They get things right and wrong like any one else.

2. When he knew is pure speculation and based on nothing since you weren't with him the moment he decided. If you are going to be anti speculation one way, refrain from doing it yourself.

3. At the end of the day, something I think would benefit you to realize in your nonsensical fight against who is an insider vs who isnt, it doesn't matter. It never will. Take it in stride. Relax because you don't get points or pats on the back for being right about doubting a recruits intention. This should be viewed as entertainment. Not news or information gathering.

You're correct that it's pure speculation, but when the folks actually paid to follow this stuff (and who actually speak with the kids) come out with "the kid hasn't decided yet," he probably hasn't.

The same people that have admitted they actively strive to "not ruin the kids moment?" Those guys? Like I said, take it as entertainment not gospel. Either way, it doesn't matter.

Can confirm, as Perry plays at my old highschool and I still talk to the AD (my old basketball coach) and they say that Aleric Watson (kid who committed to Arkansas State last cycle) has much more potential and is more athletic than Perry. Hope they are wrong for UT's sake. Its interesting how the recruiting services seem to strongly disagree tho, so there may be some bias as well

That isn’t the verbiage they use when they know but don’t want to ruin. You know this.

I wouldn’t decide where he’s going based on what he’s wearing in his commitment date announcement
I can't decide for him, and I noticed he had a picture with his high school jersey, but the other two I saw were Clemson gear. I would love to be wrong.

you can tell where hes going by his gear? what?
Didn't say that. Only that he was wearing his high school jersey in on photo, but the other two pics were Clemson gear. Just because I make a comment about something I noticed, doesn't mean I know where he's going. I would dearly love to see him in Tennessee orange.

There were five photos two with Tennessee one in high school uni and two with Clemson. What are you smoking?

So you're saying Butch got a better recruit than Cornbread?

In checking with various contacts Wednesday, one source told us Satterwhite remains "torn" over which side he will select. Another indicated that Satterwhite is still trying to decide.

We can also tell you that Satterwhite spoke separately with both Clemson coach Dabo Swinney and offensive line coach Thomas Austin on the Fourth of July. We are told he is expected to talk with the staff again today.

Based on our information, the Tigers continue to retain cautious optimism in adding this versatile piece to their class -- but again, nothing is believed to have been settled here yet.
