Oh Yeah, He showed us

Darn it.

Having played them, I _still_ don't know who this fella is.

Did he play last night?

Did you see him play, volfan_28? I want to hear how he did. Can you tell me about how he did? Was he the most explosive?

EDIT: I looked him up. 2 catches for 12 yards, if I found the right guy. Is that him? Barion Brown, right?
That’s him.

Berion Brown had 2 catches for 12 yards and 2 kick returns for a total of 26 yards.

It speaks volumes to the resiliency of this team, that they were able to weather the 38 all-purpose yards from this electrifying, freshman dynamo, and slay the Kentucky juggernaut.
I still think he’s the most explosive receiver in the conference. Not sure why Kentucky can’t get him the ball.

Edit: and I’m fully aware that this is a hard headed borderline narcissistic stance because he hasn’t produced much. But I’m a fan of the kid and hope he figures it out. Who knows, maybe as a Vol

>claims to be Vol fan
>goes to bat for a useless trash talking receiver at a school up north
>ignores that "his team" has a receiver with stats that would have won a Heisman two years ago

Troll alert fully activated here, boys.

4.18 40 yard dash and a 45” vert. Averages 3.2 broken ankles per touch. I’m telling you dude he’s going to explode
High school combine numbers are notoriously inaccurate. The best you could say is that he’s undeniably fast. There’s no sign that Kentucky will use that speed, though.

Who was that world class sprinter that we had that tried to be a wide receiver? Fastest football player around. Problem is he couldn’t catch a cold. Like this KY player, I can’t remember who he is either.

Are you from Nashville?
That's what I've been wondering. Is volfan_28 his uncle? cousin? assistant coach? math teacher?

He's got to have SOME relationship with this young man, to be singing his praises so strongly, and so persistently, despite there being three or four better receivers on our team, and probably a dozen or more better than him across the SEC.

To say stuff like "most explosive WR in the SEC," when it is patently clear that's not true...when he wasn't even one of the five most explosive receivers in the game Saturday...when he wasn't even the best receiver on his own team...when our RUNNING BACK had more receiving yards than him...well, that is either (a) personal loyalty or (b) trolling. And if it's trolling, then volfan_28 really isn't a Vol fan. So I'm hoping it's (a).

Go Vols!

Leonard Scott. After his playing career they figures out that he needed glasses....or so I heard. He could catch kick offs though, maybe because they come at you slower and are end over end making them easier to see.

Thanks. That was who I was thinking of. Memory failing as I get older.

4.18 with a 45" vert, young man needs to be getting paid on the KC Chiefs not wasting away at a middle to bottom feeder sec program... move over Cheetah!

When exactly did you become a fan of a so far middle of the road, inconsequential freshman Kentucky receiver? If you have a direct link, state it.

After the serious beatdown we put on kenSucky I wonder how this kid is feeling about his decision now, LOL!

Get used to Losing against our Tennessee footVOL Team kid because it's all you'll see as long as you stay at kenSucky.

Vols will rule and you can drool in your dreams.

VFL...GBO!!!

I have no idea what his HS numbers were. Thought it was obvious that I made up the numbers in the post above. Should've used blue font. 4.18 is only attainable in video games.

North Mississippi. No relation or affiliation to Brown. Just enjoyed watching him play

Find the Youtube video of his last school game. It was 7-7 at the half. He was struggling and I think maybe had one big play.

After halftime, he went nuttso under pressure. Wasn't wanting to fight the other team; wanted to fight his own teammates. It got so bad, his own coach just pulled him out of game and parked him on bench. They lost 21-7. He is a classic frontrunner. After seeing that performance, I didn't want him on the Vols. When he ran that mouth off last Monday, I remained glad he isn;t on Vols.

Hopefully, someday he will grow up and become a man. For now, his parents are still in control and they are a hot mess family. We do not want that bunch of drama queens on the vols roster. Our coaches know that, as do the other top tier programs. Stoops took a flyer on him, but doubt he lasts anywhere. Too soft mentally.

Now, you are just full of $hit.

The record-holder for the fastest 40 time, at the NFL combine since the advent of the electronic clock in 1999, is John Ross III of Washington in 2017. He ran a 4.22.

* It is often said that Deion Sanders ran a 4.21 in 1989, but that wasn't laser-timed.

* Usain Bolt ran a 4.22 at the 2019 Super Bowl, just for fun ... but yeah, I'm sure your boy is faster than Usain Bolt. Why not?

😄 good to know! Some high school players publish eye popping numbers that are pretty implausible, mostly because they don’t have professional measuring tools like the NFL. 4.22 is the fastest that has been measured at the combine, within the margin of error for 4.18 in a hand timed dash:

Well that's disappointing
