Oh Yeah, He showed us

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. Jalin got behind Bama's defense a lot. Hooker took advantage. Not sure how that makes Jalin more explosive with the ball in his hands than UK's guy. And for those who like to make mountains out of mole hills, I'm not saying Jalin isn't a very good receiver. He clearly is.
Not all 5 TD's were simply a result of Jalin Hyatt getting beyond the safeties, and Hooker getting the ball to him.

My point is, that if Brown was as good as you claim he is, then it would be at least somewhat reflected in his statistics for this season ... and it's not. Barion Brown has 24 catches for 350 yards and 2 TD's on the season ... and that has mostly come against weak competition.

You are either basing this opinion of yours on his play in high school (which would be ridiculous), or your highly debatable opinion has been shaped from a personal bias.

Hyatt is clearly much better and has been balling out against Top 25 teams.

‘Tennessee fans, they don’t like me.’ Barion Brown key to Kentucky’s upset hopes vs. Vols.

First of all, I don't follow recruiting so I have to admit, I don't know who Barion Brown is.

Secondly, Why are we mad? You're the one who committed to a program whose high water mark has already hit their glass ceiling in 2021

If all these Nashville guys don't feel comfortable playing big time football for big time stakes; I'm not angry. Everyone needs to feel comfortable and some guys need a smaller pond with less competition to be comfortable
Being raised in proximity to the Bastion of Mediocrity has created an entire generation of wusses with a fear of success. JMHO. :p

Good guess, but no. It’s 100% based on his performance in the Ole Miss game. I’d never heard of him prior to that game and haven’t watched him play since. I’ve watched a lot of other players tho and none seem as explosive as him. Except maybe Gibbs. No knock on other guys. There’s a lot of good athletes in this league.

Yeah I think he's more explosive. Better with the ball in his hands. Harder to tackle in open field.
Wait.

Wait.

You just admitted you've only ever watched this Kentucky dude play in one football game. And you're tagging him as a better player than Hyatt?

Wut?

Are you being paid by this Kentucky player or his family members to hype him up? What in the wide world of sports is going on here?

It doesn't sound like you watch much football, if you are giving a player that much credit for a performance in one game. That is silly.

Exactly! He is very fast.

Unlike Forrest, the Brown kid will be a cancer in the locker room. In Kentucky tradition, In the big blue tradition, I think he will be a one and done. Pumping gas in Lower Antioch by this time next year.

Damn. Why??

Make no mistake- Tennessee with TRASH Kentucky on Saturday, but why do you have to forecast that this kid is going to throw his life away after 1 year??

Little punk...parents are trash.

Hey, hope I'm wrong for the young man. But, he started it with all the 'Tennessee hates' me stuff.

Heck, 99.9% of "Tennessee" never heard of him

That's an odd comment. 1st of all, you've changed your original comment. Your original comment separated "more explosive" and "better with the ball in his hands" into 2 separate sentences. Now you're saying "more explosive with the ball in his hands". So is Hyatt not getting credit for his explosiveness before catching the ball? Like, it's just pure coincidence that he repeatedly got behind Alabama's secondary? I think this Kentucky kid is probably better than we're giving him credit for, but it's hard to argue he's even close to being in the conversation with Hyatt based on stats. He's not even the leading receiver on their team.

Hyatt: 40 catches, 769 yards, 19.2 YPC, 12 TD's
Brown: 24 catches, 350 yards, 14.6 YPC, 2 TD's

Nashville guys go everywhere. Ole Miss and Alabama got a few of them. It's not exactly a recruiting hotbed.

Not a huge deal, and no, I don't hate him.
