UT keeps football coaches around longer then anyone else in this conference. UT has had 2 coaches the last 25 years, the gators have had 3 coaches in the last 7 years. All I try to do is point out Fulmer is not this great coach that most of the people on this board make him out to be. He's a middle of the road coach in the SEC, about 4th or 5th best. He's certainly the most overpaid coach in the SEC.
It amazes me after a 5-6 year, where the team is universally recognized as the biggest disappointment in division I, that some people dont think Fulmer should be criticized. The criticism is what drove the changes we've seen this year in the assistants, does anyone think those changes weren't needed?
Look at the list of teams that have changed coaches in the conference in the last 6 or so years, Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, and LSU. Every single one of those programs are better off now since they changed coaches. Every one of them.
