Raises my hand. He blames players when they lose, and shames Oprah in taking the credit when things go well. Disappeared like a bulimic prom queen when USC grabbed the Sooners by the throat in the title game. Id trade him tommorrow for Switzer, and Im a Vol fan in okla territoty too.

UT keeps football coaches around longer then anyone else in this conference. UT has had 2 coaches the last 25 years, the gators have had 3 coaches in the last 7 years. All I try to do is point out Fulmer is not this great coach that most of the people on this board make him out to be. He's a middle of the road coach in the SEC, about 4th or 5th best. He's certainly the most overpaid coach in the SEC.

It amazes me after a 5-6 year, where the team is universally recognized as the biggest disappointment in division I, that some people dont think Fulmer should be criticized. The criticism is what drove the changes we've seen this year in the assistants, does anyone think those changes weren't needed?

Look at the list of teams that have changed coaches in the conference in the last 6 or so years, Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, and LSU. Every single one of those programs are better off now since they changed coaches. Every one of them.

Relax . . . I never said anything about whether you were right or not. Notice the part of my post where I said "whether right or wrong". You keep talking about how sensitive the Fulmer defenders are . . . You're the one posting 3 paragraphs every time somebody slightly disagrees with you.

By the way . . .

Merry Christmas! :D

Not so sure I can go along with that. There have always been good coaches in the SEC.
Here are some of SEC's "good coaches" in 1998: Jim Donnan, Hal Mummie, Jerry Dinardo, Brad Scott, Mike Dubose, Woodie Widenhoefer, Terry Bowden.......Scary group aren't they???

I just will not forget his 1997 Recruiting Class ranked #1 by EVERYONE and everyone in BR thought they were destined for complete greatness.

You need to go back and check and see just how good we were doing and then how good we finished that year he took over. I will lay any amount of money you want that BB team will lose to Vandy before our football team does again.

Not sure what you mean? Are you referring to Fulmer? We were a top ten 10 when he took over and now we are doing good to finish top 25, let alone top 10. And yeah, considering the basketball team is rebuilding and Vanderbilt is on par with Tennessee in basketball and they play twice a year, I know you would like to make that bet.
