I’m not sure what you’re saying, but I question that this crowd was the largest. They shrunk overall capacity with the addition of the suites, so I’m guessing there’s been a larger crowd a number of years ago.

I took the announcer’s comments as being the biggest game in our history, not attendance wise.

I heard them say it was the second largest D1 basketball crowd this year. I took that as the second largest in the nation this year.

It was the first time two top six teams had met in Knoxville. Hard to believe, but fact.
