Does he slot into the Sunday role when Russell returns?I will admit when I'm wrong. I thought Phillips would be the weak link in Weekend Rotation, Phillips has proven me wrong so far the guy has made tremendous strides since last season.
I know Josh Allen is going to be @CobbWebb71 number 1 choice![]()
What did you count @CobbWebb71 as?
Russell probably is Sunday starter just guessing though. Just think though 3 potential 1st round draft picks in your Weekend rotation. Plus I would bet anything no SEC team would be able to match Russell on the mound in Sunday. That's usually your weakest starter.Does he slot into the Sunday role when Russell returns?
Or...as crazy as it sounds, do you leave the Friday and Saturday alone and throw Russell on sundays?
Milwaukee's payroll every year isn't much more than the Reds and they seem to make playoffs every year .In today’s screwed up MLB economic system it’s awfully hard being a Reds fan. The Dodgers and Mets are spending over $300 million on payroll. The Braves are over $200mill. My Reds are spending a total of $102 mill (less than 100 mill on the 26 man roster)
That kind of system sucks. This is why the Dodgers haven’t missed the playoffs in over a decade
Milwaukee is to be commended. They are what we (Cincinnati) strive to become, however that's a modest goal compared to the Dodgers. The Brewers have won one playoff series (not World Series) in the past 40 years. OneMilwaukee's payroll every year isn't much more than the Reds and they seem to make playoffs every year .![]()
