Sorry Memphis it ain't gonna happen, Memphis is one of the worst coached teams I've seen in a long time. Completely undisciplined. You can't win any meaningful games that way. Ole miss will open it up second half. Bad attitudes. Bad sportsmanship, an example of doing it the wrong way, feel sorry for anyone that takes that coach. He will bury a program.
Don't go there. It's still the same team that was lucky to beat Bowling Green and Cincinnati. This is more about how Ole Miss has crashed since the Bama game... though Fuente is a good coach.

consensus of 107 computer rankings says not really close, and that was before Tigers beat a very good rebel team in a game where the result was hardly a fluke. Memphis was better...more yards, more first downs, 38-22 TOP, 2 td win in game where they were -1 to's..
it would be very close either way if we played them imo..f chrissakes they have a 1st rd nfl qb..

Cite computer nonsense all you want... I think our game with them would look a lot like our game with Bowling Green perhaps a little closer. Something like 45-34. Lynch is a very good QB and would put up numbers similar to the BG QB but ultimately they could not get us off the field. Dobbs and Hurd would run all over them and their secondary is even worse than Georgia's - Jennings, Wolf, Malone and Williams would be open.
computers aren't biased...you are, obviously..you're a fan..so am I. There aren't many objective-or unbiased-measures that are gonna say ut is better than memphis..
Vegas is unbiased. I guarantee you that a game between Memphis and Tennessee in Neyland next Saturday, UT is at least a 5 point favorite.
Computers aren't biased but they don't watch the games or evaluate individual match ups either. We have a common opponent and the results from our respective games with Bowling Green can't be ignored.
