Ole Miss at Memphis

Vegas is unbiased. I guarantee you that a game between Memphis and Tennessee in Neyland next Saturday, UT is at least a 5 point favorite.

Computers aren't biased but they don't watch the games or evaluate individual match ups either. We have a common opponent and the results from our respective games with Bowling Green can't be ignored.

ok..so vols would be maybe 1-2 point fav on neutral field, +/- a couple points? I agree.

Let's just see what Memphis does at Tulsa on Friday night... and what Ole Miss does vs Texas A&M next Saturday. I have a feeling that they both will lose and their game today was about Ole Miss hitting the wall.

That's about a 12-1 parlay imo..I doubt tigers lose but not a bad bet

Good grief. Tulsa is so overmatched its ridiculous. Dream on.

Haha I love it. When we beat Bowling Green the are a big win, but when Memphis goes on the road and beats them it's meaningless. Memphis beat a team much better than Georgia today, in MUCH more convincing fashion. The stupidity of some of our fans is astounding.

Who said Bowling Green was a big win? I will kick their a$$ for you. Ole Miss has become a first half of the season team only. Just like last year when they beat Alabama but finished the year with blowout losses to Arkansas and TCU. They are not playing much better than anyone right now and getting worse. They will probably finish 7-5 with losses to Texas A&M, LSU and Arkansas. There is nothing stupid about taking note of how this season looks just like last year for Ole Miss.

The job that Justin Fuente has done is remarkable, though. In 2010, Memphis was the worst team on our schedule and one of the worst teams I've ever seen play in Neyland. He will get a better job and should be successful.

This thread has gotten so ****ing weird. Why worry about Memphis we don't even play them so hypotheticals don't matter. We play those fist dragging open mouthed breathers next so why not move on since we actually do play them. Lynch is a 1st rounder and Fuente is a damn good coach, thats, all.

Sorry Memphis it ain't gonna happen, Memphis is one of the worst coached teams I've seen in a long time. Completely undisciplined. You can't win any meaningful games that way. Ole miss will open it up second half. Bad attitudes. Bad sportsmanship, an example of doing it the wrong way, feel sorry for anyone that takes that coach. He will bury a program.

This is my favorite thing in this thread.

Was this supposed to be blue font?

Edit: Haha, I was just now reading the thread and didn't see the above post.

UT is obviously more talented, but Memphis is far better coached. It would be a close game.

No one called beating BG a big win. But they're a common opponent and the tiggers beat them by a field goal and UT beat them by 29. And UT could've beaten them by 4 or 5 more TD's.
