In this league, the best Vandy could ever do is exactly what they pulled off last year and perhaps this year. When Franklin realizes that he'll run off to USC when kiffy is fired.

He won 9 games last year in the SEC at Vanderbilt. Think about that. Did u ever think in your life you would say those words? They beat us 41-18. Dominated us. UGA didn't do that not did USCe. Yes, he can coach. I don't like him, but this saying he can't coach is ridiculous.

Our team had completely given up on the season about two weeks before that game. A high school team could have beat us that night.

vandy is supposed to be the team that everyone laughs at and plays the 3rd string at some point in the 3rd quarter.

if you can't tell this isn't your father's vandy, i don't know what to tell you.

and all the credit goes to 1 guy, that's the head coach.

look at their OOC games, then keep in mind that in conference they beat the worst auburn and Tennessee teams in each programs' history. they beat Kentucky (who didn't?). soo.. it's really not as impressive as it appears on paper

Franklin is a good coach. Vandy looks good. So did we last year week 1. You guys need to learn to relax.

I think you've overstated their suckage a little. IIRC they played UT pretty close all thru the 90's, even though yes they always lost. But they weren't getting thrashed like you describe.

They've definitely stepped up their game. Are they serious contenders? We'll see. IMO they were one no-call on a pass interference from beating USCe last year.

The fact that so many Tennessee fans hate that guy tells me all I need to know. Sometimes, you have to give the devil his due. That said, I wouldn't trade head coaches with Vandy in a million years.
