Ole Miss vs Vandy @ 9:15

Given the fact that you are even somewhat aware of the gentlemen you named, what you are arguing is asinine.

Once or twice a decade, Vandy gets to the point where they can play frisky against good teams, and play in a bad bowl game. Right now, they are to the point where they can play frisky against good teams, and go to a bad bowl game. Other than James Franklin's helicopter and ANCHOR DOWN!, what's different than where they've been before?

Lots of fans are a little bamboozled by the record inflation that's come along with the 12-game schedule and the yearly IAA team. Maybe you're one of them.

[QUOE=UTwild82;9077978]If Franklin goes bowling this year, that will be three years bowling in a row. That's a big deal at Vandy. However, I see only two options for Franklin 1) he keeps winning and gets a big time job or 2) he starts losing and eventually gets fired after raising expectations. So, either way, Vandy will go back to being Vandy at some point.[/QUOTE]

I want
CJF to stay at Candy for the next 30 years. That way We can see him go 0 and 30 against Tennessee.

I won't respond on how we match up with Vandy until I see us play. Well play WKU at least

Kentucky went to five bowl games in a row once they figured out that the 12-game schedule and 35+ bowl games means that if you A) schedule four horrific OOC opponents, and B) have a crummy permanent cross-division opponent, then you C) should only have to win that game and one other to get bowl-eligible. That's how Vandy's scheduling now.
