This guy seems alot like Deshaun Barnes from a couple years ago

He is a high three star safety, that could become a 4 star.
we all thought the same about barnes

he committed to us then de-committed

lets just hope he doesnt end up like what Barnes did

bwt, what team is Barnes playing for now ??
Barnes had a signed LOI to play for UT. Didn't make the grades. Went to prep and got his grades in line and is now at Auburn. I don't remember if we ever really recruited him after he went to prep.

Oliver would rather stay committed and make other visits. He's asked permission from Fulmer, and of course Fulmer allows that.

Oliver should stick with us - he's very very good regardless of how many stars he has.

If I remember correctly, this is the young man whose mother wants to see him stay closer to home, plus we are fairly loaded at DB with a few good ones still on the board. Could affect his decision by NSD.

Can't blame him for looking around a little, although I hope he sticks with UT.

Might not play DB.

Hopefully we will pickup Myles, Smith, Gordon, or Swearinger and this really won't matter. Although i thought he looked like a player.

This doesn'..............I just don't understand why they do this? Commit is a big word, and I think it has lost its meaning in the recruiting world

not surprising. Kids everywhere are doing it, not just our recruits. We could lose a few more, but we could gain a few more too.

I really hope he commits back to us in the fall. He is a appears to be a real playmaker and could be something special.

Maybe he's doing what I did.. lol, I knew where I was gonna play all along when I was getting recruited by Northwest. I originally commited there, then de-committed so that I could get wined and dined by other schools... granted I was only getting offers from D-2 schools and... Wyoming. haha, but it made me feel important.

Maybe this kid comes back, I don't blame him for wanting schools like Notre Dame to spoil him a little. I have a feeling the kid will be back, if he's thinking the same way that I was last year. lol

Is there one Catholic HS in this country not nicknamed "The Fighting Irish"?

Well.. One school in my conference in high school tried to change it up a little.

O'Hara, in KC thought Celtics made them a little more unique than just the typical Fighting Irish!

from what I have read his HS coach is pushing ND and Weis has offered him as a wr.

What was the reason for his de-commit... I heard he just wanted to visit other schools
