I agree, but at the same time, hes supposed to be on the field, fans are not. Not saying thats an excuse, but i think people are seeing why rushing the field isnt a good idea. Players have pint up emotions and you have a fan in their face flipping them off and screaming at them. Yea, great mixture for this to happen.

Watched the presser from yesterday, I think, and Coach didn't bring it up and the excellent journalists from the area didn't bring it up. It appears to be out of the national media focus also.

Like a lot of mistakes from last week, I'd say that one has been addressed internally.

I'm sure Omari has had some time to reflect about how he handles his emotions after a game. I'm also sure the fan has had some time to reflect about how he handles a sore backside.

This brings up an interesting question, how do universities keep fans off the field after a big win? Fines are just dumb and does nothing

For years we would line the sidelines with every state trooper in East Tn at the end of games. That seemed to work pretty well. Maybe they didn’t think the expense was worth it after years of no big wins. Also, the field storming helps sell the university brand when the networks show replay after replay, so fines don’t really hurt the universities all that much.

There are also lots of videos around showing Arkansas fans seeking out ut players to insult, flip off, grab by the jersey, push, etc. Of that was your goal then the guy getting pushed for off lightly and or players did well to have no more incidents

Kick his ass off of the team. He matched his entire output versus Arkansas last night against a fan after the clock struck zero. If you're pissed, take it up with yourself and your teammates in the locker room and ensure such a letdown doesn't happen again.
