The recruiting fallout of X leaving seems to be over. Coach DD is left to salvage a once impressive group of young players committed to the Vols. The players on our board now are Vols and will remain Vols.

Today by all accounts our class is still amoung the top 20 or so in the country but look at the work we must do the just get slightly better.
With Hunter coming aboard and the possibility of signing a few more top players, we will have a respectable class, but oh, what we have lost.

The offensive line has been hit the hardest with Cullen, Green, Stone, Robinson, Coleman and possibly C. Smith who many thought would be moved to OL. These players have either taken UT out of consideration or have moved us from their leading school. These players were the largest portion and biggest need of this class. The OL departures may be devastating to our program.
Come on CDD and lets get this thing rolling, we are running out of time.

And to M.Ambles " Go somewhere Else" our WR class is loaded and a scholarship to a project OL or LB is needed more than you... GBO

Who do you think you are telling our recruits to go elsewhere? Why don't we trust our coaches to decide who we need to sign and let's support the program instead of trying to tear it down???

Just chill, Phil. We haven't even named an OL coach yet...the longer it takes, it's likely the bigger target they are after. Might even be a position coach on a playoff team in the NFL, that coach Dooley or someone on staff knows. What ever the case may be...let's not start freaking out. Plenty of Fulmer's classes looked like doo-doo up to this point (before he cleaned up the last minute before NSD)

Not in a panic at all. Just simply telling the truth in my post. My only opinion is on Ambles.

Note the lets get rolling and the GBO. I fail to see any negative phrase in my post..

Huh? Wait and see who our DC is. We are not done at Hialeah yet.

We were trying to turn Shon Coleman from Auburn. Damien Robinson may want to play with him.

I did not want James Stone ever after seeing reports of his senior year.

Chaz Green and John Cullen and Arie K. That is the best 3 we could end with and it was during the Kiffin heyday and it is still possible.

Well, your opinion is flawed. Just because Ambles is less sure of his commitment (which ought to be expected after such a change) doesn't mean we should kick him to the curb. He's an extremely talented player, and whomever he ends up playing for will be lucky to have him.

Wow, what about my post is incorrect. It has only one opinion about Ambles and it is mine. If u dont like it then Tough #*@-. But this post is not negative in any way and is truthful, so take off the glasses and look at where we are as of today. If you would like to voice your opinion then u are in the right forum and I expect u to do so. GBO!!! :banghead2:

So with all our other needs you want us to sign 5....yes 5 WR with 2 starters coming back. Thats flawed..IMO
But u are entitled to ur opinion as am I...

Dont agree with telling High rated players to leave, but ill never trust a coach again until he earns it.

"The offensive line has been hit the hardest with Cullen, Green, Stone, Robinson, Coleman and possibly C. Smith who many thought would be moved to OL."

Stone, Robinson & Coleman were never ours to begin with and Smith was a maybe OL. We lose Green who was still not committed but keep JJames.

The posts said that they either have taken us off their list or moved us down, it NEVER said they were committed and is plainly written. READ... GBO:banghead2:

Stone, Robinson, Coleman, Green, Cullen, Wilson were all targets and possibilities. We probably would have landed a couple of them, but now it is unknown. Hopefully we can recover, but our OL prospects don't seem as good as they once were. We still have 2 weeks. We will see.

Wow Orangekush423. Wake up.:banghead2: The post says as of today. And we are not an 8-12 class as of today. As SEC recruiting classes go, as of today we are an average class. Behind UF,ALA,LSU,AUB,UGA, Why is it so hard to see, as of today.. Dang..

What exactly are u seeing. I would love to hear that opinion, please...

Got to keep Ambles man. I agree with you on the OL and LB but i'm confident that Dooley knows what the deal is and will recruit where we are weakest at. He's in control no doubts. Got to keep high talent like Ambles though. MUST!!!

Understood. Just think 5 WR in this class is too many. But looks like we may have plenty of room. We can sign 27 and are looking at 16 firm right now...

Don't think it's going to be a problem. Doesn't look good at all for Ambles coming to UT. He got two seperate in home visits yesterday from the staff and decommitted anyway. His dad says we are still in it, but the writing is on the wall.
