One explosive offensive player in 2010 class

It's kinda tough to get yardage on a reverse when you gotta rely on a tough Jon Crompton block just to keep from losin a ton of yards..........

Teague or Moore would have been much better options. Even using Oku or Brown on the reverse would have been much better options. That's not Gerald Jones' strength at all.

I had a feeling like that was just to make NuKeese happy

I think so too. Teague is and has clearly been the better player. He's actually looked more explosive than Nukeese. Teague also doesn't whine like Nukeese and I respect him for that. He'll wind up being the Steve Smith of our offense.

I have always wondered where the notion of richardson being a blazer came from?

I knew he wasn't a true burner when I looked at his highlight film. He was quick but he never just broke away from a pack like a true burner would. He had potential to be a good player but he was overrated. We'll find out that we won't really miss him in the long run. I really felt that we recruited over him with this class and Teague being a better overall player at the same exact position in our offense.

Moore is definately a big play reciever... (our best wideout) IMO

Thomkins will be also i guess... you just never know.

I agree that UT needs Somebody with breakaway speed. Creer or Giles could have been that guy. But our offense (and run game in particular) needs someone who is going to put you on your heels. Right now we don't appear to have that.

I've been asking for speed since I got on this board and people have ragged me for it. Now everybody sees what I saw a while back. It makes the game so much easier when you can go deep on a defense. You can't bring a safety in the box like you can at times on us right now. With safeties out of the box Brown and Hardesty would dominate games. Or a team could come up in coverage and risk a big play over the top. It's a lot better to have speed than not to have it.

Just an FYI, nobody disagreed with you that speed wasn't important.

No everybody wanted to act like it wasn't one of the most important things out there. Speed goes a long way in this game. It's one of the few things you can't teach. McCluster and his speed smashed us saturday. Without McCluster we win plain and simple.

i think we are gona see oku lined up all over the place next year, slot, tail back, maybe even a single wing/wild cat type thing, this kid can catch the ball (so can bryce brown) and both of theese kids have the ability to get seperation on DB, thats the deal folks its not allways about your 40 time, its more about ability to get seperation. and track speed dosent always produice that.

i think ambles will be another big play guy, he runs good routes verry important for the aforementiond, and he has better speed than it looks like he kinda glides like a gazilee

its actually sad to think how much better this Ole Miss team would have fared this yr had they put the gameplan on the shoulders of McCluster instead of Snead.
Nutts inability to use his best and fastest player cost them 2 games where their defense played good enough to win

Most teams shut down Mcluster. Why we didn't I cannot answer....

How is Markeith Ambles not a playmaker who can score from anywhere.
