I think the guy was so brainwashed by his father and grandfather that he actually thought he was a god. He has learned otherwise since his fathers death and wants to bring his country into the 21st century. No need for the daily drama.

My prediction is he will eat himself to death in the next 2 years!

Tell that to all the hostages that haven't been returned. At least have the class to put the political attacks aside for one dang day to let these people and their families to be celebrated.

Of course they will its human nature. Its the only way to avoid saying they were wrong. That is not chipped in stone yet but they can't even stand 1" in a positive direction. Its the first time I remember a group of US citizens actually hoping the President will fail. I hated Obama, criticized him daily, but never was dumb enough to hope he failed, if he failed I failed.

What does it matter? Until somebody comes along to burn this bastardized republic to ash and cinder and rebuild it on the original founding document, we're all simply pawns on the board.
