One Korea ... Soon?

How do you figure? Trump nor the US are brokering these talks. NK reached out to SK.

Edit: If anyone deserves credit, it's probably China.

Trump still had to pressure China to get them to negotiate to begin with.

If peace is somehow established on the Korean peninsula, Trump deserves a Nobel prize.

I missed in the article where Trump pressured China to broker a peace treaty between NK and SK. Can you point that out for me? All I see is talk about NK's nuclear aspirations.

He basically threatened China via Twitter, which, in hindsight, has forced China to reconsider their stance on NK. This is not hard to understand.

P.S. I'm not saying Trump is the only one to credit for this. All I'm saying is that he had an important role in brokering these peace talks.

I don’t think this one Korea thing will actually happen UNLESS the NK leader’s family gets to in charge. No way that dude gives all that up

Agreed.

Wouldn't there be a mass exodus of North Korea as they seek opportunity, food, etc?

I'm not reading it as One Korea. I'm reading it as there will be a truce between the two countries

More then likely it’s an agreement to let both countries exist as they stand with agreements not to cross the others border. Still remarkable of true.

No Ireland updates in OT makes me sad.

Yes anything to avoid giving Trump credit. Haters gotta hate. Common sense says the 2 attempts on his life last year (his words not mine) brought him around. He realizes he can't thwart these attempts forever, plus, how bad can it be opening up his country to the world? Don't throw him in the briar patch.

So, Trump ordered assassination attempts on a foreign leader?
