I wholeheartedly agree with the OP with the exception of our OC. I think he is a good OC he just had a bad game. We should have tried to run more early instead of dropping back so much. I really think he is calling a straight give on these read options to try and protect Worley, but in this style of offense you just can't do that. It has not been effective and will not be effective in the future until we run it right. If we ran a real zone read I gurrantee you we would have had over 200 yds rushing in everyone of our games so far and we would not have had so many sacks against OU.

We are a better team...imagine that game with our starting wideout, starting TE, and starting guard...then add correct officiating on that....we win.

Pass the pipe man, I need a hit of what your smoking.:stop:

The failure to overrule the fumble was critical. Going into halftime down 13-7 against Oklahoma on the road would have been amazing. Then the play call that resulted in a pick six could have been completely different as the score would have been 20-10 and perhaps a run instead of a pass would have been called with the possibility of a FG bringing us within one score instead of HAVING to score a TD.

I won't say we would have won, but had the right call in that one play been made then when the clock hit zero it would have been a 1 possession game. After years of seeing this exact type game result in a huge blowout its nice to see progress. Now to keep it going. I believe we pull a couple upsets if Butch can keep the players motivated all season.

O.K., I’m goin to do this once and then move on in life. I’m still fuming over the officiating last night. They cost us that game. You can go on about the O line if you want to. You can go on about bajakian if you want to, about worley if you want to, about the running game if you want to. Truth is we could have and should have won that game. You guys are simply looking for someone or something to blame. That’s all…just looking for something to place the blame on. Our Oline was outstanding! You are talking about high school kids that got plucked off the high school field and thrown into the game against what is probably the nations best D. They were OUTSTANDING…I think ONE penalty all night. We knew it would be a miss match from the start. Truth is they learned fast. They got the job done jusssst enough to get us in a rhythm once in a while and they did jusssst enough to give us a chance. What more did you want? Bajakian doesn’t get it? OOOOOOO.KKKKKKKKK. You guys were the same ones calling for Jancek before the season. Look at what he’s working with. The guy has an outstanding resume. All I hear on the radio is praise for bajakian when the games are being played. Truth is, a lot of you guys are out of touch with today’s game. It’s a different game guys. Don’t go acting like you know better and if we had a running QB everything would be better. That’s not what todays game is. It’s a very complicated variety of scheming that's designed to wear your opponent down over time. Not only is it possible for a young undersized team to go up against a bigger team and kick their butt, it happens all the time. It’s very likely with todays scheming…you don’t get it? exactly….you don’t get it. So back the hell off and let these guys do their job.

We should have won that game last night…the officiating gave it to Ok because it was better for them, it was better for EasSPN, and it was better for the first NCAA playoffs. We were a couple of plays away from tying that game up, we could have done it with a few good calls and everyone knows it. So drop it…move on. With the kind of experience we are giving these young men and the kind of young men they are, and the coaching we have…we are going to win a couple we shouldn’t…someone is going down…this year.

Oh yeah, and Worley has run for downs in games, he’s done it very effectively, but the guy had been hit enough right? He is probably concussed, and probably should rest a few games, but are YOU going to take the ball out of that man’s hands and tell him that’s how his college career will end? NOPE, and I won’t either. So get it together. Straiten out your panties and calm the hell down.

Did the refs sack Worley a dozen or so times?

I'm just glad Stoops took his foot off the gas pedal. They threw 11 passes in 1st qtr, 10 passes in 2nd qtr, 8 passes in 3rd qtr, and only 3 passes in the 4th qtr.

We played hard and I'm proud of our team. I actually felt sorry for Worley. But in my opinion, no matter how the calls went, we were not going to win that game or even keep it close. Yes there was a time or two that the game could have been closer in the second half but it never happened. Our OLINE got whipped as bad as I've ever seen. I don't think Oklahoma wasn't trying to score but I think they ran a very vanilla version of their offense for the last qtr and a half.

The oline wasn't outstanding. More like...Terrible. Officiating screwed us on the obvious fumble review play but that's about it.

This is awesome.

I like this OP.

It doesn't matter, but he's right. The officiating was terrible and we threw 2 picks in the endzone. We really wern't too far out classed in that game and we won't be in any more games until Butch is gone. The OLine was outclassed however.

You say we are looking for someone or something to blame and then you blame the refs. Wth, we got beat by a better team.

Im proud of the team. We were about 3 plays from making it a game. Stoops wanted to hang 60 on us and couldnt.

On to georgia.

That one pass if we score we make them sweat, we don't beat them but they are not smiling.
