Yes, when Dooley tossed his headset in Baton Rouge and the same types on VN went looking over their shoulder for LSU or UGA to steal away our diamond! :shakehead:

Each time it happens, I can see the entire brain trust at UTAD "circling the wagons" around a conference table. The letter is read aloud from a paper copy as all listen intently. Then everyone leaves with a unified spin control plan.:thumbsup:

We must have the most emotionally unstable fan base in the country. Emotionally unstable defined as reacting based on circumstances versus facts and incredibly reactive. Some people just can't help themselves.

We beat a lower tier Utah State at home and people are already inaugurating a 10 win season -- Wait until we get into the meat of our schedule to see what we have.

Paranoid behavior of caring what every idiot fan says on another blog. -- Good grief, let's just play the games and let our actions do the talking.

And THIS. Coach Jones has a good start to the season and we are already talking negotiating his contract?

If Tennessee Football was a girl, our fan base would have her at the altar after the first kiss.... slow down people.

We are looking like idiots out there. SLOW DOWN

Although I think being paranoid defiantly is on display I do believe BJ's is a breathe of fresh air and a recruiter extrodinaire let's give it a little time, maybe by the last game of this season. We will also need to address the assistant coaches.

If Dooley was a diamond for some he must've been a diamond stuck in a dog turd..... that someone lit on fire and left on Dave Hart's door.

I'm just thankful that Dave Hart will handle the contract negotiations and not Mike Hamliton

I merely disagreed with the sentiment that there's no chance that CBJ would leave us for Michigan.

I wonder if that's his dream job???? It' his home and he played for Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. Could be interesting if they fire Brady Hoke and that job comes open.

No one thought the ole Kiff would bounce for his dream job after naming one of his kids Knox..... :)

My hope is that Coach Jones has only one "dream job" as he referred to in his first press conference upon becoming head coach.

I was concerned about USC from the beginning, and I doubt I was alone.
I was mainly concerned that if it happened, it would be at a horribly inconvenient time for us, because it likely would involve their job not opening until after the NFL regular season and thus not being filled until close to signing day.
And, in just one season, that's exactly how it played out.

I may be wrong, but I think that extension happened right in the middle of his first season. That extension makes the stuff Hamilton did look like child's play.
