Hope you habitually negative posters pay attention to this!

You beach and complain about everything because its not as good as 1998. 1998 was due to very tallented players.

Your vocal attitudes are partially responable for keeping some tallent from joining the program! Find a way to be constructive instead of destructive.
When you say tallent does your post only apply to tall recruits?

solid post young man and thanks for the input.

I guess I am considered a old timer being in my late 50's and I can say that I am not against change, traditions have to start someplace. New uniforms done right I think would be great.
I personally would like to see a new type of intro music for when the team comes on the field and runs through the T. Maybe something like AC-DC Thunderstruck or some kind of hard hitting music, something to really get the fans and the team fired up. (the fans could bring the Thunder )

Traditions are great and I am all for them , but we have to keep up with the times also.

I like your way of thinking.

Solid Post... but don't mistake the old heads for all VOL fans by any means...

Social Media is a powerful tool, anyone who does not see that or makes fun of people for helping their team in that area are idiots..Plain and simple.. Its a Tool that the common fan can use to help in recruiting.. So Far from what I see in the Twitter world.. Vol fans are leading the pack in this area.

Rocky Top will never go away...personally I don't like the Woo, and would like to see it changed to and UHhhh.. or more manly sound, but whatever.

Uniforms are all about the players... The traditionalists are not the people having to wear them, so what they say about it matters exactly 0%

FWIW.. last time UT beat a ranked team... we wore black.. you would think people want to win more then they want to see the same uni's the team has been wearing since forever

oh my

I didn't realize this would cause so much consternation.

I only put that in there as an example that I am not stuck on tradition on everything.

and since I am not current on the newest music I stated a song "something like" AC-DC and then said "or some kind of hard hitting music"

I have re-read it several times and I do not see whats so hard to understand. I never stated it had to be that song.

I know where you are coming from. The boredom of the stadium is infectious. A few years ago they played Thunderstruck during a storm delay and everyone went ecstatic. We need something new and unique.
To the other posters: As far as uniforms, when was the last time our team beat someone relevant? Hint: we were also in black uniforms.
