They missed making that statement in the SEC championship game. Regardless of what they think, they are not even the best team in the SEC. And the only statement that a victory by UGA makes is that Bama was the correct team to select.

If healthy Georgia beats Bama. Hell if not for the officials Georgia likely wins. Don’t give a damn that Georgia got screwed bc it’s been happening to the rest of the conference for years.

they are not sick or have a family emergency, they are just “opting out”.

I stopped buying tickets and flying across the country to see Journey in concert after Steve Perry opted out.

I argued against people shaming others for basing their decision to travel to the bowl game on who the starting QB is:

I think attendance is already suffering for the bowl games. With all the opt outs and transfers, unless you are in the playoffs, the games really don't matter. The players know that, the coaches know that, the fans know that. I hate that bowl games have fallen to this level, but for example, if you were deciding whether or not you are going to watch an MLB game in person and they announced that the star outfielders, shortstop, first baseman, DH, starting pitcher, and closer were all not playing, would you still go, or even watch?
