With our O-line, we should have had the same game plan as Stanford. Wouldn't have won the game, but would have been better.

They are just over-rated and extremely average…and not very physical at the point of attack…

I believe that Stanford has been playing what is often described as "SEC" brand football out west for several years. I would love to see this Stanford team play Alabama in a bowl this year. I do not care what bowl or if it is for a NC. I just believe it would be a great, physical matchup.

No doubt their's is better, but as someone pointed out in another thread, our same OL was very good last year, and has been average or worse this year. CBJ did a poor job of adapting his system to the players who were on hand when he got here.

This is truth. Our O-line is not a strength. Not even a little. The lack of push against the early cupcakes should have proved that.

No. Bama's defense is better than Stanford's, Bama's offense is better than Stanford's, Saban with month to prepare is almost unbeatable.

Hope to hell they lose in the SEC because no one can beat them if they get to the title game. Hopefully Saban packs his bags and heads to Austin after this year.

That's your opinion. My opinion is that we do. Tiny and James are ranked as the #4 and #9 tackle prospects, respectively, and Stone as the #6 center. Stanford has only G David Yankey listed as a prospect (#1 G prospect, but behind Richardson on the overall big board). Before you say anything, no, I'm not saying that this "proves" I'm right, but it certainly lends credence to my statement, to say the least.

I hope you're right, but personally I don't think they'll be MUCH better. A little better, yeah, but not a lot. I believe 2015 is when we see the really big improvements in most, or all, areas.
