If they were on cruise control why were their starters still playing in the end of the third qt.
They didn't pull them until well after our TD.
Sorry I don't have Playstation.
Didn't say they weren't GOOD, just not as good as many are giving them credit.
SEC reign has been about 8 years now.
Think it's going to last forever?
History says no.
I guess this thread has been blown to Hades after the might quacks got pounded last night. To think Bama would not destroy the ducks was ludicrous, Bama is much better everywhere than Stanford...Congrats to Stanford, proof that the Ducks cannot handle a physical attack...
Well, well--looks like ALL the ignorance is on the LEFT COAST ..You know--I would have never said a thing to you quacks--but you come on here talking about how good your players are--YOU ESPECIALLY, Bellotti--and all of these great NFL playas just got their azzes physically handed to them by the ONLY left coast team comparable to BAMA .
And don't even try to point to the score--Stanford was just pounding that azz and running clock in the second half and almost screwed up the ending
Whether Bama makes it to the NC game or not--you guys are exposed for what you are--YOU CAN'T HANG when those big, tough physical teams BUST you in the mouth. Auburn, LSU, Stanford x2--and you really just think that you want some of BAMA .
And if you dared even watch tonight's game--YOU KNOW that Stanford COMPLETELY dominated the line of scrimmage ALL night long--proving the point that I was making on here from the beginning.
Lotterpick and Calban--that goes for you, too. :salute:
How'd I get in this?
I was defending Dobbs.
We might have better individual linemen than Stanford, but as a unit, Stanford's o-line is much better than ours.
Shut my mouth, didn't they?A play every 17 seconds.
Like everyone else the boys from Bama will be gassed by the end of the third.
Hell one Manzel put 42 on them. What will a team with 3 or 4 of them do?
SEC reign ends this season.
Do these words sound familiar?? You said them defending Oregon and as rebuttal to what I was saying about Oregon and Bama .And Bama is a little better than Stanford this year, plays the SAME style of FB, --but it's close. Would be a great NC game to watch .
:salute:
No doubt their's is better, but as someone pointed out in another thread, our same OL was very good last year, and has been average or worse this year. CBJ did a poor job of adapting his system to the players who were on hand when he got here.We might have better individual linemen than Stanford, but as a unit, Stanford's o-line is much better than ours.
Are you the guy aka as Dr. B on Sport-talk radio??
And no--we DON'T have better individual linemen than Stanford. And no--our OL is not even close to being in the top 10 OL as a unit either...
They are just over-rated and extremely average and not very physical at the point of attack
REALITY JUST BITES--and we will be MUCH better on the OL next year .I really do hate saying these things--but after watching 9 games--it's just true. :salute:
No. Bama's defense is better than Stanford's, Bama's offense is better than Stanford's, Saban with month to prepare is almost unbeatable.I believe oregon could fair well against the mighty tide. even after losing to Stanford. I believe that Stanford has been playing what is often described as "SEC" brand football out west for several years. I would love to see this Stanford team play Alabama in a bowl this year. I do not care what bowl or if it is for a NC. I just believe it would be a great, physical matchup.
Haha, no. Gary Haskew is his real name (just in case you were wondering). Are you the guy aka as Dr. B on Sport-talk radio??
That's your opinion. My opinion is that we do. Tiny and James are ranked as the #4 and #9 tackle prospects, respectively, and Stone as the #6 center. Stanford has only G David Yankey listed as a prospect (#1 G prospect, but behind Richardson on the overall big board). Before you say anything, no, I'm not saying that this "proves" I'm right, but it certainly lends credence to my statement, to say the least. And no--we DON'T have better individual linemen than Stanford.
And I never said, nor insinuated, that our o-line was a top-10 unit, or was even close to being top-10. I agree with you that they're not.And no--our OL is not even close to being in the top 10 OL as a unit either...
I hope you're right, but personally I don't think they'll be MUCH better. A little better, yeah, but not a lot. I believe 2015 is when we see the really big improvements in most, or all, areas.REALITY JUST BITES--and we will be MUCH better on the OL next year .I really do hate saying these things--but after watching 9 games--it's just true. :salute:
