Oregon to jump UT?

Committee will have to decide between a one loss Tennessee or a one loss Michigan or OSU. I have to believe our resume is better than either of those teams

I hope they don't have a 1 loss Pac12 champ and a 1 loss Georgia mixed in that decision too. Not that I think that will happen, I'm just trying to make sure I'm rooting for errbody I need to root for every Saturday between now and that final poll. Lol.

They've said they heavily rate SOR. We are #2. Oregon is #6.

We're way up on overall SOS. #2 vs. #28.

We're up way higher on Game Control too (#2 vs. #30). We're much better positioned, whether they win out or not.
Don’t go throwing out all that common sense stuff at us. That wouldn’t fit the agendas of the biased folks.

Oregon lost Saturday. Seeing how this committee operates, they would take a 2 loss Oregon over a one loss UT. They hate Tennessee.

One must remember that ESPN/ABC hosts the Heisman Giveway TV event, so it is truly in their best interest to promote the team of one of the top 2 Heisman contenders right now. That would be UT. And yes, lots of people in Bristol are loading up on Pepto Bismal

Oregon's out...now we need a TCU stumble.

FWIW - I was one of the ones pointing at Sonny Dykes when Pruitt got hired.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a MILLION percent happy with the way things turned out.
Just saying Dykes would have done well here too.

USC gets to play top 25 ND, UCLA and Oregon (or Utah) to finish the season. That gets them the 4th spot if they go 3-0.
They aren't. They are very fatally flawed and have benefitted as much as anyone from not playing anybody. Our defense is on UGA's level compared to USC this year. I would be shocked if they win out. They very likely could finish with 3 losses.

The committee won't overlook this juggernaut of impressive victories after their close loss to Utah (who got beat by a middling Gator squad):

O-15 A UTAH 42-43
O-29 A ARIZONA 45-37
N-5 H CALIFORNIA 41-35

At least our closest wins were against teams with winning records.
