My wife is a rabid Ohio State fan. We've already made plans to watch the game at different places if we play each other. It would real bad.
That's not the point. It doesn't matter what you think. I say that not trying to be condescending. They are #4 in the CFP.
So.... TCU has struggled (but won) against inferior teams and are undefeated
Any other team with a better Strength of Schedule loses 1 (ONE) game and TCU deserves to be in because they're undefeated?
I guess there's no reason to schedule anything but the "Little Sisters of the Poor" for 12 games then.....
I mean... If that gets you into the playoffs and all.....
If TCU wins out they will have beaten enough respectable teams as a Power 5 conference champion to merit a playoff berth in my opinion. I would imagine the committee will agree. Since they do play shaky I'm not sure if they will though but they do what they need to and win in different ways.
There would still be a path for the Vols.
I don't think the ACC is getting anyone in.
The USC/UCLA loser is eliminated, and the winner will still have a tough path remaining.
The Ohio State/Mich loser is probably eliminated because they won't make their championship game either.
Doomsday for the PAC-12. Oregon goes down at home. UCLA losing to a 3 win team at home. If that holds up then USC is their only hope but they still have two rivalry games and the potential conference championship game. Not looking good for that conference at the moment.
I remember a simpler time when UT fans would date UT fans and keep it pure, now you have all these mixed fan households. And look what America has become (obvious sarcasm)
