Oregon to jump UT?

Oregon's out...now we need a TCU stumble.

FWIW - I was one of the ones pointing at Sonny Dykes when Pruitt got hired.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a MILLION percent happy with the way things turned out.
Just saying Dykes would have done well here too.

We will still be fine if TCU doesn't lose, but prefer they did so we won't be in that 4 spot. Would rather play Ohio St/Mich in the 1st round instead of GA. Hopefully if things go right it sets up a TN/GA NC. Long way to go for that to happen but it's what I'm hoping for.

As it stands right now, I only see two scenarios that could have us sweating it out. #1 USC wins out and becomes Pac 12 champions. #2 LSU wins out and beats GA and becomes SEC champs. I’m not saying that we won’t get in if this happens but it could be problematic.

Tennessee has one loss and it’s to the #1 team in the country. The loser of Michigan/Ohio State would have to be out if Tennessee stays unbeaten. If that doesn’t happen, then the college football playoff should be completely revamped.

If TCU loses, we are in regardless.

Too many Big 10 homers on the committee

Oregon and UCLA lost. USC is the only 1 loss team in the pack 10. And they still have 2 games and a possible pac 10 champ game. They play UCLA and Notre Dame.

Oregon’s loss was at least to a ranked team. UCLA lost at home to a 3-6 team. You can’t repair the damage to the image of that league overnight.

Well on the nation, Dennis Dodd said Tennessee will stay ahead of everyone they are ahead of and Michigan has a terrible non conference schedule that knocks them out with a loss to Ohio state. Said he likes Tennessees chances and he’s never said much good about Tennessee

Probably need OSU to beat Michigan badly as some insurance. Don’t need to give the committee any perceived justifiable reason to try and keep both BIG10 teams in the CFP.

This game will be close. Probably a FG. Michigan has a good team, and knows they can beat Osu, after last year---42-27. MOF, I'm calling for the wolverines to go into Columbus and beat the Buckeyes at their place. Harbaugh is the better coach. SO, when that happens, does OSU drop below UT? I say yes, since UT lost @ uga. Tennessee just needs to keep blasting people and everything will work out fine.
