Oregon Vs. ASU

Anybody who thought the Ducks would roll paid no attention whatsoever to what ASU has done to this point in the season, particularly last week at Camp Randall.

At home makes a big big difference there. Should be interesting, totally different styles of play. Idk if stanford has enough speed, but maybe they can control tempo

Agreed. ASU impressed me along with Arizona last week

The way Threet has played, Duck fans should be thanking the good lord they get Arizona and Stanford at home.

I didn't think we would roll, however, I also didn't expect to make our defense look Threet like Peyton effing Manning.

Think Foles deserves to be mentioned in the category as Luck? Or ahead of Locker?...?

Ahead of Locker, but not Luck.

Although I dunno, Foles doesn't seem to be doing much today against a defense that gave up 51 to Nevada last week.

Not so sure... Hasn't looked too good against Iowa or Cal, now. Foles is skilled, but that's about all one could say about him right now. He's a long way from last season.

True True... completing 79% of his passes this year haha. Wow

I think Lockers talent his fine, but the rest of his team is pitiful. UDub would honestly be near the same ballpark of crapitude as Wazzu if not for Locker being on the roster these last few seasons.

Yeah...maybe it's that whole 4-20 performance last week against a good defense that's clouding my opinion of Locker. Or the fact that he doesn't win on the road.

I have a feeling that Kelly and the half made some serious halftime adjustments defensively...let's see how we respond.

They've be advertising the crap out of it here. I'm dating a woman 10 years older than myself at the moment... It's been real.

Look at it this way: Locker is going to be a first-round NFL pick at seasons end, and anybody with half a brain knows the rest of Washington's roster sucks.

Washington has a good WR corps and a good running back in Polk...otherwise, yes, they do completely suck

Maybe they don't fully and completely suck in this situation, but without Locker at QB... you wouldn't even know their names

Well, considering that UW is probably our biggest rival and I know them well, I'd know them even if my grandmother was playing QB for them

Ok. But you see my point.

Oregon ball. Score here might be ball game, imo

I honestly don't think we're all that great at this point. If we can buckle down on D in the 2nd half and hold on, there may be a glimmer of hope going into next week against Stanford. However, I have a feeling that Andrew Luck is going to light us up like Clark Griswold's Christmas tree.

I love Stanford. Can't wait to see this game.

And this is why I'm baffled at Oregon fans when they delude themselves into believe they can compete with the Alabama and Florida's of the world. You can't win big games giving up 300+ yards of total offense and 24 points in a single half. Sometimes you have to be able to man up in the secondary and bring pressure with your front four and a few blitzing backers. Oregon can't do it. They aren't talented, physical, or big enough, on the defensive sides of the ball. Especially on the defensive line.
