I pull for UGA over UF and Bammer definitely...brother n law's a dawg fan. But, how bout that Orson Charles fella? I'm of the opinion that he ends up at UGA...but it's a harder decision than he ever thought it would be.

Interesting. I was thinking the same thing. I believe we will be 4th on his list after this weekend and will be the first team he eliminates on Monday.

He would be pretty dynamic at USC with superior talent around him, playing against inferior competition.

He has never been to California before, and I question if he'd be willing to switch coasts after one visit.

The biggest con for USC is distance.

I wonder if one of the other 3 horses has already shown him the transfer rate for USC signees that get homesick.

USC/UT make the most sense from a system standpoint, but UF/UGA have probably been recruiting him the longest of the four remaining.

I certainly wouldn't bet the "house" on anyone playing it this close to the vest, though.

I agree 100% with what Jack said. :)

This has been my feeling on it as well. I don't see USC getting him. I see it being between UGA/UF for the same reasons Jack mentioned. They have been on him the longest and the hardest.

I have to think Monte helps us a little bit. I know that I wouldn't want to have to play against his defense every year and Charles grew up watching Monte in Tampa. I really think it's between UT and UGA. USC would get the nod if not for the distance, UGA would already have him if his heart was with them so that leaves me thinking he will end up at UT. We have the benefit of the right scheme, the close proximity and knowledge of our staff if not a relationship. I'm sure he also knows of Eddie Gran and Coach O. The only thing that worries me is how much us not signing a QB influences his decision.

I wouldn't rule out UT just yet. If you remember, OC was extremely impressed with his visit. I'm sure that memory hasn't completely faded.

Nobody gets them all right but Rex provides the best/most comprehensive recruiting info on the board. Sab is a close 2nd. I don't agree with him on Charles this one but I'll take his opinion over most.
