It doesn't, but it does mean that you should have a distinct advantage coming into college and going through because of evaluated talent level. Stars don't mean anything by the time you enter the league though, your right about that.

whoa there... JC owes his life to CLK the rest were not surprises at all and had a shot at the big one either way and btw it was 6 drafted. Seriously mickey mouse could have coached Berry, Hardesty and Williams and they still get drafted. Hardesty only needed a chance to carry the load.

The answer is easy Kiffin will dominate the Pac-10 for years. He was a good Coach here and many recruits wanted to come. Just because he left dosent mean he didnt think Tenn was a top 10 job. Hes just a douche.

I'd say Kiffin will convert a whole lot of Vol fans into Alabama or Florida fans, being that they(USC/UF/or Bama) will be playing each other for the championship numerous times over the next decade

are you trying to say they offered Sark the job and he turned it down lol? Sark would've taken that job in a heartbeat.

Riley turned it down on the 9th. Fisher turned it down on the 10th. Del Rio turned it down on the 11th. Kiffin accepted on the 12th.

Pearl came to UT off of taking Wisconsin-Milwaukee to the Sweet 16. Hiring a coach coming off of 4-8 in the WAC isn't exactly the same thing.
