Wait til you see what Oregon, Florida, and Alabama do the WAC level buffons running things now. It'll make last year's Auburn loss look like a high point in program history.

You're not backing up your contention very well. This year was going to be a rough one no matter who the coach was.

Kiffin had that job given to him. He did nothing to "earn" it. He hasn't proven anything with lesser talent to this point.

I wonder if he proved himself when he was an assistant at USC for 5 years?

Yeah, after the first 16 people turned down USC, they settled on Kiffin. We'll see how that works out for them. Derek Dooley has one of the best jobs in college football too.

you mean those NFL coaches? haha yea, they did turn it down.

how many guys who were not NFL head coaches turned it down?

It is obviously not THAT coveted.......

I am curious which fanbase is less-thrill overall with the fallout of that mess - USC with Kiffin or UT with Dooley.

Exactly. If it was so coveted, why did they have to settle on Kiffin? Kiffin is still an unproven coach. They took a chance there. Without Daddy and O, he doesn't get that job OR this one.

I've come full circle with hats "smugness" and I'm back to believing he's after Hammy's job.

you cannot honestly pick Los Angeles over any other place in America can you?

Now go down to San Diego or up to 1000 Oaks, farther up to San Fran and it is niiice. but LA is not good.

Not significance, magnitude. Kiffin and the WAC Pack versus Saban, Meyer, et al will be like Don Knotts in a cage fight versus Rampage Jackson.

A loss is a loss, what's the difference in the end?? They don't post record like this...

UT went 7 and 3 horrible losses + 2 close losses + 1 demeaning bowl loss.

They just say 7-6. Oh, and some of us thought 2-3 horrible losses last year were moral victories. :cray:
