Do I at least get weekly photos from a joevol in need enjoying my contributions? I just want to know that my money is going towards the benefits of a middle class American.

Haha, I'll even wear orange in the photos!

Mamma knows...

The earlier you start saving, the less you have to save. The numbers are crazy. Plus, a Roth account grows tax free and you've already paid taxes on what you put in.

Absolutely! My mom and I have gotten into arguments over this. She absolutely stands by the rainy day fund in terms of savings. It makes sense, you never know what might happen, so it's smart to have that cushion. I just hate waiting and sitting around with piddly interest rates. I want to be like Gordon gecko with a giant mobile phone making big calls.

So, hubby ordered the kit to fix my car last night and paid for overnight shipping. Youngest son just picked it up to drive it to work tomorrow and evacuate the freon for me. He's also gonna read the code for the check engine light (which conveniently came on driving home today since I need to do the emissions test so I can renew my tag this month). He'll drive it back to my house tomorrow and hubby will start working on it. I'll feed son and daughter-in-love dinner and the grandbaby dinner. Then whichever day hubby gets done, son will pick it up again and charge it with freon at work. I just have to pay for parts since he'll do it after work, off the clock. I am SO appreciative!!!!!

Glad you'll be able to get it fixed. My check engine light came on right after I passed emissions.

There is Bruno's in Sea Side. It's about 30 mins from where you are staying but if you go at lunch time it's well worth it. Probably the best pizza I have ever had. If you don't go at lunch time it's oretty expensive.

I'll have to look at the map. May can swing by on our way in. Leaving at daybreak, but can't check in till 3. Planning on being there by 1 and grabbing lunch and some groceries to pass the time.

Check and see if anybody offers a minimal startup. Maybe $500. Go ahead and start your IRA and do a 40/60 split(IRA/emer fuud) on what you save every month till you reach your emer fund goal.

The gecko's name is Gordon? Didn't know that. He's a cool dude.

That's what we always do.
