I don't want to miss open house in a little bit, but my leg has been bothering me. I guess its best to stay off of it and not hop around for 2 hours.

So he killed me on the front 9. I beat him by 1 on the back 9. Took the last six holes against him.

It was the first time I've golfed in 3+ years.

Been longer than that for me. I would love to play a round of golf. Just haven't found the time. Never was a fan of weekend golf.

Sounds,like a good time Yankee. I bet he took it easy on you the back 9.:)

I used to play A LOT (at least once a week) when I was in GA. Being a Drill Sergeant I never really had time. As for Alaska, well there's not much time and I'd rather do other stuff while I'm stationed there.

Aw, thanks. :redface: This is a big one. My youngest and his wife celebrate their 2nd anniversary in December. I'm gifting them (assuming they say yes, that's what I find out tonight when I tell them) the Family Life Weekend to Remember that hubby and I go to every year. It's hard to afford for young couples, so I'm paying for them to go, and their hotel room. Already talked to daughter-in-love's mom and she'll keep the baby that weekend.

I can't wait til they get here to tell them! Hubby and I have been almost every year since we got married, and it is worth every single penny. In my opinion anyway.

My baby girl has been in here since they got home doing "therapy" on my leg. Gotta love things kids do!
