Sympathies. I was prescribed methyl prednisone for gout a couple of decades ago. Our trip to Singapore included 3 flights with layovers of 6 and 1 hours in airports, one 14 hour flight from LA to Taipei, 2 other flights of 4+ and 6+ hours - 32 hours total. Between the food and long hours in a sitting position, I was beset with gout in the big toe. In Singapore, they gave me something that knocked it out in one day. It was not (yet?) approved for use in the US. As a follow up, my doc prescribed prednisone.

Yes, first ent prescribed the methyl prednisone and then prednisone. It's crazy how little sleep I got last night and I'm just wide awake. Drugs! 😖
