its boredom, or just power. When you can and do do it all, you look for the next high to be higher. at some point you cross a line between kinky and illegal. you feel like you are untouchable, and have the power to enact at least some of what you want to do.
I don't think its wide spread to even be a quarter of the super rich. but I expect the number of rich involved in sexual no-nos is at least as high as the general public, and I would argue higher just based on the first paragraph.
and they have better lawyers to get away with it, as well as the political connections to cover it up. even without the DC angle, knowing the cops are going to raid you from the local Mayor could give you enough time to cover things up or hide them.
sure its all a guess until it comes out, but I was responding to the "why" of it.They also have more to lose, so not sure about any of this guessing game.

when has the threat of losing something ever stopped people with power? we aren't talking people like doctors or finance guys, or people who have to do something to justify their pay.
people are afraid of losing things they need. these people have gotten to a point where they forget what that is like, to need something. they haven't lived paycheck to paycheck. they haven't had to worry about the car breaking down and not being able to get to work. they aren't afraid of being unable to afford their kids medicine. as I said, they think they are untouchable, and that makes it far easier to cross lines normal people wouldn't.
its not like this is some new unheard of phenomenon with rich people. there are several phrases about it. Money is the root of all evil. power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. willing to bet on could go through his lyrics and find some examples from him expressing this mindset.
society has been less accepting of violent abuse for a while now in general. I don't think being rich makes one immune to those changes. we have improved in the sexual abuse department too, but not to the same standard. plenty of gray lines there, while physical violence is pretty black and white. All the time. Everywhere.
In no way am I saying money and power don't corrupt. I'm saying we don't know if it offsets the fear of risking it all, which is much more likely in today's world. There's like a cutoff date for when beating women would get you canceled. Have you noticed the Sean Penn's of the world aren't beating the Madonna's of the world anymore? We know more. Information is easier to obtain and disseminate. Celebrities have to be more careful than ever because the media doesn't control the narrative like it used to.
You ignored the second tweet with the video. The fbi isn't raiding people's houses just because you own a restaurant together. LolThis is nothing, until further notice. Owning a restaurant together doesn't make you a criminal. Pretty normal behavior for rich guys to partner up on stuff like this. I can't understand why Kevin Hart would need dirty money for this and knowingly take it.

Plenty of other unhealthy relationships still out there, especially sexually. Depp vs Heard was all types of jacked up that probably would have sent either to jail. Weinstein wasn't that long ago. depending on who ends up actually on the list but Epstein had a whose who's of names. the Diddy allegations fall in line with those.
I have no idea what the typical populations percentage of sexual assault/trafficking is, but its got to be small, less than 1%. Hollywood/music, especially the rich and successful make up less than 1% of even LA. So yeah there aren't going to be a ton of instances with it, doesn't mean its a weak argument, just means there isn't a lot there to begin with.In no way am I saying there are no more sins. Unhealthy relationships? Who cares? I'm talking about stuff with way higher stakes. The Depp vs. Heard thing...I think that illustrates the weakness of your argument if that is one of your top examples, but it's also a modern lesson about phones and recording technology and how you're risking your career with toxic behavior against your partner, let alone sex trafficking and sexual assault.
Weinstein got caught not too long ago, but he started this stuff like 30-40 years ago. Maybe he's a remnant of the past. Even if he's not, a few examples can't illustrate the point that "too much to lose" isn't an effective enough deterrent to offset the corrupting power of the elites vs. the normal population.
Kevin Spacey, I believe, was acquitted of all charges, but 100% canceled. It used to be the other way where you'd get charges/convictions but not canceled.
Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have been semi-canceled just for writing a letter on behalf of the other guy from That 70's Show. That's how tight their b-holes have to be in Hollywood.

I just don't think its because they have a lot to lose, I think its mostly because most people, even in Hollywood, aren't sh&t.
its also a bit disingenuous to say a Weinstein case is really just 1 case. It was 1 guy doing the damage, with a bunch of enablers, and a bunch of victims, only some of which went to trial. same with Epstein. same with Diddy. Michael Jackson is another. Cosby has been mentioned, R Kelly liked peeing on little girls, Louis CK was tied up in something can't remember how that one turned out.

The rich and powerful have sexually abused people, especially kids, since the beginning of time. The assertion that they do it to this day is extremely likely. This isn't about what you would do if you were rich.I enjoy the conspiracy that “the rich and powful are child trafficking.” Why would they do that? Is that what you would do if rich and powerful. To be clear I'm not saying their aren't rich and powerful doing this. Sickos exist at every station in life. I just don't believe it to be some secret thing many do
People of all walks of life do it. Rich are no more likely than poor. Evil doesn't know income. And if I'm rich and powerful I Dont just suddenly become good with being a pedo or rapist. The rich and powerful have sexually abused people, especially kids, since the beginning of time. I doubt too many poor people are heavily involved in human sex trafficking unless they're forced to be involved. There's a lot of money and power to be had with human trafficking.People of all walks of life do it. Rich are no more likely than poor. Evil doesn't know income. I suggest you search your local paper for thee charges. The vaaaaaasast majority are folks hanging out in nightly rate hotels who pulled a hooker across state lines. And its not a small number of peopleI doubt too many poor people are heavily involved in human sex trafficking unless they're forced to be involved. Bold - That's what I'm saying. People too often get hung up thinking, "I wouldn't do that so I don't think others would do it either" for many situations. Well that's great and I do believe the person behind volfanhill probably wouldn't get involved in human trafficking. But a lot of people will, would, and do whether or not you believe it. You really aren't aware that human trafficking is a major problem in this country right now?
