Pac-10 Report: League May Not Be Able to Fill Its Bowl Commitments

washington and asu are clearly superior programs to vandy, msu, and kentucky. to argue otherwise is riduclous.

How are ASU and Washington superior programs to Kentucky?

Kentucky hasn't had a losing season since 05. In the last 5 years they have 3 bowl wins against Clemson, Florida State, and ECU.

Arizona State hasn't finished above .500 since 07, and hasn't had a bowl win since 05.

Washington hasn't finished above .500 in about 10 or so years, hasen't won a bowl game in the same amount of time, has a winless season in 08, and only mustered 1 win in 04.

Both programs are a joke.

these are hard games? and then look at the rest of the schedule. one game to get up for and 3 joke opponents. and people talk crap about boise.
Who are the tough opponents the Pac 10 has scheduled sans USC, and how are they much tougher than what you mentioned.

once again having not had a losing season when you play uab and 3 other joke teams isn't impressive.

I'm sitting here trying to figure out who the Pac-10 has played in comparison(Not named USC)? This season at least, the Pac-10 has lost all their big OOC games with the exception of Iowa and Texas, and the latter lost to Iowa State.

and kentucky and vandy wouldn't have lost said games if they were scheduled?

When 6 of your opponents are Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and Auburn/Arkansas, it's not quite as easy, either.

better than asu, but absolutely not better than washington. no even close.

They're better than Washington. Much better. After Jake Locker leaves, I wouldn't be surprised to see another 2 or 3 win seasons out of those clowns.

I'm listening to the radio, and Ronald Reagan said something that reminds me you. "The trouble with our liberal friends isn't that they are ignorant, it's just that they know so much that isn't so." or something like that. I'm sure the best in the PAC-10 could compete with some sec teams, and he worst in the sec could compete with the worst in the pac-10. But the only reason the pac10 plays ranked OOC games, is cause their ICGames are so weak, at least most of them. They don't even play a conf. CG. Just say that it's south carolina and bama in the sec CG this year. In order for SC to win they'd have to beat bama TWICE. Beating a team like that is tough, but twice. There isn't a team in the pac10 who'd have a chance

they aren't better as a team, but we were talking about the schedule.

why do you keep going off topic? we are talking about why pac-10 teams are less likely to be bowl eligible than sec teams.

How am I off topic? The Pac-10 is losing those oh so tough games against mid majors which contributes to your number of bowl eligible teams, or lack there of.

you do realize that the sec east leader currently has 2 losses and we are in week 8 right? i assure you SC could have won sec titles with that type of schedule.

lots of bcs teams lose to tcu, boise, and utah. sec teams refuse to play them.

The SEC hasn't been kicking ass during bowl season? :lolabove:

your record is slightly better than conferneces with similar tie ins (big 10). slightly better isn't "kicking ass." all it means is that you are #1, but not by some huge margin.
