Palin was asked about it. She said he is "very, very, very effective," and that she respects him.

I love it.

only you could conflate an expression of respect into a possible campaign ticket.

that's ok, I know the leftards in this country are scared sh*tless of both Palin and Beck. There's no other explanation for the level of vitriol aimed their way.

Exactly right, that is the only explanation for all of the hatred and trashing. I would vote for this ticket if for no other reason.

Of course that's why people are scared of those two. Well, I don't know about Beck, but definitely Palin. Everyone should be scared of idiots with power. I thought conservatives would know that well by now.

Because there's no such thing on the left.

LG, why was this not posted in the Palin/Limbaugh Catch-all thread? You know you start 2 of these threads every week.

But the cool part is just how objective he is in his approach. I now understand why it took him so long to make up his mind in the last presidential election.

Palin - Beck wld never work, but I would vote for them over the 2 clowns that are in office now. I know Beck is goofy, but he's right a lot of the time.

The only ones making her relavant are the democrats. Once again she has zero chance to get the nomination. you might as well be posting threads about my presidential campaign.

Her chances of nomination bear upon 2 things...how sexy she can be made to appear, yet smart and how badly Obama fails to rally his own party especially if the economy/foriegn issues improve. Elections have become more about voting against a candidate than voting for one...the lesser of two evils.

she can never again be made to appear bright and she won't be getting any sexier.

Her day in the sun is over. We continue to hear from her because she moves the needle with the social conservative lot.

This woman is not dumb, she may not be an elitist like Hussein but she is not dumb. She is a regular person and is not a normal politician. Her appeal to the folks is that she is just a regular person. She will be a force in the conservative movement for a long time. I am not convinced she will run in 2012. I think she is looking longer term.

then why do the blatantly partisan thing and single out conservatives, unless there was some sort of implication?

Because this was a thread about Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck who are both conservatives. In fact when I said that part about conservatives should know best about fearing idiots with power I was directly referring to the current administration and how conservatives have shown the exact same response to Obama that the left has of Palin.

It is an objectively true fact that both of them are idiots. I have no problem announcing here and now that I wouldn't vote either of them to be hall monitor, much less POTUS.

Now, if the R's nominate Romney and he's running against someone like H. Clinton, I'd certainly give him a look-see.

But either of those two nutjobs? No way, no how.

I disagree about the dumb part with Palin, liberal media bias aside.

And I don't want a "regular person" to be president. The job is too important. Clinton was a Rhodes Scholar, GWB went to Princeton, Obama went to Harvard. Elitist or not....whether you agree with policy decisions or not.....intelligence should be a requirement for the highest office in the land.

Americans in general, and Palin supporters in particular, have an unhealthy desire to see average people promoted to positions of great authority and responsibility. Would you want an average nuerosurgeon doing surgery on your child? What about an average carpenter working on your house? But I guess when it comes to being the commander in chief of the most mighty military force and nuclear arsenal in the world, average is good enough.

The whole notion is absurd.
