The only people that care about Palin right now are the ultra-liberal and ultra-conservative. I guarantee the left would be just fine with her winning the nomination.

I doubt this is true, they would not be bashing her at every turn if they did not fear her. Is the media and the left out there bashing Romney or Huckabee? No, because they don't fear these 2.

your right about that, cmon guys i think palin is sweet, and smarter than they try to make her out to be. but like i said before i know yall have better than her. I hope yall have better than her. And i don't think you are but if you are right about obama and were even more screwed in four years. we are going to need a republican a hell of alot better than her to dig us out.

Sorry to disagree, but I don't think it's an issue of fear. Rather, it's an issue of selling to the public and right now having her name/picture on the front of a newspaper or magazine, or mentioned in a news program, attracts readers and viewers... which boosts ratings and sales. This is no different than Octomom and Jon & Kate... I don't think they were feared either but received plenty of press.

It must be nice to live in your little bubble world.

Pretending this focus on Palin is anything other than ratings is idiocy. A former republican VP candidate sex kitten from Alaska with a illegitimate grandbaby and a former son-in-law wannabe practicing to be a chip-n-dale is golden. Combine that with all the things coming out about how the McCain camp really felt about her and this is a ratings gem. The only ones still taking this charade seriously is the conservative outlets.

I mean, really, who cares about two boring middle-aged white men when you can peddle that on the nightly news?

It is fear, you fear her and most of the other people on this board does. The liberal media and the dem party sure does. You all are scared to death because she is not the typical elite politician you are used to.

the only thing i fear is the highly unlikely scenerio where she gets on the ticket for 2012 because that means obama will get anohter 4 years.

your right about that if republicans want the white house back they better get someone better than her. It would be funny if the democrats countered with hillary though. It would only be funny leading up to the election. not sure i'd like the four years to follow however. But wouldn't happen because obama wants a second term.cant wait till 2016 though

I think she could, by 2012 most people will be sick of this admin and politics as usual there maybe enough people ready for real change.

Are you telling me that she is the best the republican party can offer? I know better. Please will another republican on this board tell me that the republican party is not relying on sarah palin to get you guys back in the white house

I am not a Republican first of all. Is she the best I don't know. I want to see here in the conversation eventually for the presidency, don't know if I would vote for her or not. I am on the record as saying she will not run in 2012, I would put money on that.

I used to consider myself a Republican, then I watched the party elite continue to go left. So I quit donating money to them and removed myself from all of their email lists. So I just consider myself a conservative.

she like obama has peoples attention for whatever reason. when she was on oprah, it was oprahs highest ratings in over 2 years, and yes that includes Obama's visit to Oprah. her and obama are complete opposites on everything. obama is an ivy leaguer who is suppose to be this deep thinker. ya that's working out good. palin while she isn't an ivy leaguer, i think she has more common sense. some will agree, some will disagree. would i like to see palin run? no, i think there will be a better candidate emerge later on.
