Funny everyone disses Palin considering the joke
that now resides in the White House when he isn't
out golfing or vacationing.

Palin deserves the disses.

She quit as governor of Alaska when the pressure got to her. At the time, I gave her the benefit of the doubt regarding her reasoning (ie, the ethics probes). While I still think some of the attacks lodged against her are contrived, her reputation is too damaged for her to ever survive the primaries.

Not being a smart alec, but if you think Obama is bad, Palin would be an unmitigated disaster. Palin would actually have to make decisions rather than make folksy attacks invoking hockey moms and momma grizzlies in 130 or less characters in a leadership role. She is a quitter, a charlatan, and IMO a simpleton. With her behavior, she deserves all the derision she gets. It is of her own making. Not huge Obama fan or hater, but hell would freeze over before I even entertained the notion of voting for a political joke and hack like Palin. Don't go nuts on me gs. Remember, I am a pretty decent guy. :).

She has fire in her belly and rocks in her head. If she wins the presidency, life in America would become a terrible Disney movie. Soccer Mom from small town Alaska becomes president.

Sounds to me like she is going to get into 2012 election. She's still a hot looking lady.

it's a good thing that a former member of MSNBC and the Huffington Post is able to report this with a measure of objectivity.

btw, neither would run as independents. Trump doesn't want his finances made public and neither of them want the pay cut that comes with being POTUS

And in fact these kinds of meetings help keep their brands in the public eye, generating ratings for him and book sales for her.

Kinda like how previous POTUS hopeful John Edwards recently popped back into the news.

Sarah Palin's bus tour dominated this week's news, raising to a fever pitch the question of whether she will, or will not, run for president. The better question: Does she have what it takes to become president?
...
Mrs. Palin's strengths remain the very ones she displayed when John McCain first chose her as a running mate. She has practical executive experience as the governor of Alaska. She has a reformer's instincts and a healthy skepticism of business-as-usual politics. She has a background that many Americans can identify with and is aided by her innate, and considerable, political skills.

She also has a lot of negatives, ones that she herself has created since 2008. Of all criticisms of Mrs. Palin back then, the most legitimate was that the relative political newcomer lacked knowledge and experience, in particular on foreign policy. A serious candidate, one who was determined to seize the frontrunner mantle in 2012, would've set about using the intervening years to bone up, to demonstrate accomplishments, and to build a brilliant team.

Mrs. Palin had a perfect perch from which to do this, as governor. She instead chose to quit that job and retreat to (let's be honest) the easier occupation of private citizen. Rather than build a team, she has cast herself as a one-woman-show. Her supporters love this spunk, but the aggressive insularity—Sarah against the "establishment"—has also served to alienate many of the local political leaders and organizers necessary to build a nationwide campaign. That includes fund-raisers.
...
As a TV commentator, she has also become a deft hand at skewering Democratic arguments and at calling out Republican weakness. But she has not outlined many policies of her own.

This is no small thing. Whatever you think of Mr. Romney's health-care plan, at least he's got one. Mr. Gingrich may not be brave on Medicare reform, but he's willing to get into specifics. What is Mrs. Palin's position on Social Security? What's her idea of corporate tax reform? How would she handle Pakistan? Good leaders inspire, but they also perspire over the painful nitty-gritty of policy. If Mrs. Palin gets in, she starts from way behind.
...
Mrs. Palin would come into this race with little or no infrastructure, a near complete lack of a policy agenda, and eye-popping unfavorables. Nothing is impossible in politics, but her start is not encouraging.

And, I would consider this article to be very gracious toward Palin...

No governor at any time, not LaGuardia, Roosevelt or
even Reagan, accomplished anywhere near what this
champion achieved in her first 18 months in office.

Read the following link to find just some of Palin's accomplishments.

"Undefeated" Palin: Authentic, American, Exceptional -- Game on! - Atlas Shrugs

America needs to see this movie if, for no other reason,
to know what a real leader looks like and acts like and
to understand what Palin actually accomplished.

America must begin to understand how violent and
destructive the elitists that control information
dissemination have become. We witness an absolute
campaign of destruction of a squeaky clean, brilliant,
accomplished champion of the people by bloodthirsty,
jealous hyenas. And the craven complicity of the
Republican establishment will drive legions away from
the old guard and their Rovian mechanics.

The Old Guard must stand down.
---------------------

The film is divided into three parts. First, how she
came from nothing to battle the corrupt powers
fighting against her (and the best interest of
Alaskans) and achieved unprecedented success in
a very short period of time despite the odds.

The second part of the film shows the true leadership,
natural charisma and intelligence that makes Sarah Palin
uniquely qualified to inherit the Reagan mantle.

She is the only conservative leader who can lead a
Reaganesque Revolution and bring the American
people (the tea party movement) back into power
and into the Oval office. Steve Bannon has been
quoted as saying, "This film is a call to action for a
campaign like 1976: Reagan vs. the establishment."

America needs this film.
