Maybe they just don't want to jinx it. I ran into a huge Auburn fan last weekend; of course he ask me how are the Vols going to be this year. I said, "gonna suck I guess." I didn't mean a word I said; in fact I've kinda regretted telling him that, cause he bets on a lot of games.

My dad is a big kentucky fan and he would never say somthing just to sugar coat it for me .But he thinks that UT could win the east if they have no major injuries and can get a few breaks.he said that on a real good day with a few breaks they could even beat bama,but thinks in the end that vols make to many mistakes and lose to bama by 10 points or less,Thinks UT beats ncc state by 17 and the gators by 13 also said UT will beat either georgia or usc .but in basketball he thinks kentucky beats UT and makes it to sweet 16 or elite 8 then lose.and says that UT can not shoot from the perimeter well enough to finish better than fifth in sec.

At least he is football savvy.

It is funny that UT is ranked #31 in the AP poll and yet are not getting much respect in the State but that shows you how the Nashville news and its pro-Vandy style has been hating on Dooley ever since he said UT always beats Vandy in the locker room after the game. They just don't like hearing the truth and have a strong dislike for Dooley for stating the truth. Kinda like Alabama fans still hating on Fulmer.
