I just want to say that since I've been born Pat Summitt was our head coach! This is a sad day for all Volunteers!!! But I truly want to say thank you Pat for being our coach. You are a class act and may God bless you!!!

She is the epitome of class and grace. Future generations are going to enjoy her the way we enjoy Gen. Neyland's legacy.

Thank you Coach Summitt for the class and leadership you have shown at the University of Tennessee over the past 38 years...There will never be another like her...A true Vol For Life!

I have little confidence in Holly. I think the program will fall from top #5 to top # 25 with her as the coach.

no. we won't be in the top 25. why on earth did we nor go out and get a coach who could continue to recruit the name players we need to compete. oh well, pat is the only reason i followed u t women's basketball. with her gone now, i'm done with them.

While it is so sad to see Pat leaving as head coach, time is better spent celebrating her career and achievements. There has been no one better. For many, many years, she was the single driving force behind women's basketball. It's an incrediable legacy she leaves.
