Patrick Patterson

I have no idea where you get your information but that couldn't be more false. Pat Patterson is Ole Miss bound. I'm not being a homer. We just really think this kid is ours. I wish I could say the same about Marlon Brown but I'm wary.

If anybody besides Ole Miss was to get Pat, it would be Bama

Homer.

I'm telling you what I know.

Marlon Brown
Z Mason

Those are two guys that UT has as legit a shot as Ole Miss does.

Pat Patterson is not going to UT. I'm just saying it like it is.

"It went pretty good," Patterson said Sunday on his way back to Macon. "I had a good time."

He said Sunday he'll take his final visit to Tennessee on Friday and announce his decision on National Signing Day on Feb. 4.

Asked where Ole Miss stands in his pecking order at this point, Patterson provided a rare hint.

"Maybe they have an edge over everybody else," Patterson said, adding that the decision is going to be "real hard."

FYI, I made no prediction.... Just passing along info my friend.

He sounds unsure of whre Ole Miss stands. Tennessee's OV will go way better so Rebs are in trouble

Sounds like a small edge to Ole Miss, with a UT visit pending.
We have as good a shot as any after that comment.

As previously stated, UT has a better shot at PP than Ole Miss has at MB. :eek:k:

I have been saying he is a long shot because he seems to really want to stay instate. Also in an interview with his mother a week or two ago, she was asked several times about UT and didn't have much to say about the vols at all. She seemed to really be leaning towards the in-state schools. I thought it was pretty obvious that she wanted him to stay close to home. They weren't even sure if he would visit UT if his other visits went well.

That said, since he is still planning on taking his visit to Knoxville that is a good sign that he has not been blown away yet. I still say we are a bit of an underdog but if his visit next week goes REALLY well then anything can happen. I'm looking forward to it.

Didn't come to come to cause a stir.

My information is credible. I'm not suggesting that Pat didn't make those statements. I'm in Oxford and it's much easier to gain an understanding on who stands where.

Pat has Ole Miss and Bama as his top 2. I don't see that changing. He's going to come here. It's just as simple as that.

And coming from the mouth of Marlon Brown. Not somebody else... Marlon Brown: Will be a decision between Ole Miss and Tennessee.

You can say I'm wrong or my information is wrong but that's exactly what I know, not what I think.

Did you say you lived in Memphis, or Oxford?

Haven't heard Brown say Ole Miss, or UT.

You don't know anything about the MB situation if you think that Georgia doesn't have a better shot than Ole Miss.

Pat Patterson's mother has said that Tennessee is 4th on their list. She said that UT came in too late looking at Marlon.

Marlon Brown has unofficially told many of us that it's between Ole Miss and UT. He showed interest in us late. We didn't just start recruiting him harder. He has been quoted on Scout.com as saying we are up there in his recruitiment.

I'm not assuming anything I'm saying. I get the feeling that's what many of you are doing.

I think Marlon ends up at UT. I'm just letting be known what I know based off the conversations that have taken place with these recruits while on their official visits.

UGA or UT is what 99.9% of the people following him think. so that really hurts your credibility right there. to think Houston Nutt's late arrival is going to unseat Mark Richt.

You can say I'm wrong or my information is wrong but that's exactly what I know, not what I think.

Ole Miss fans don't think or know anything. That's strike 2 on credibility.

Nutt left Arkansas and their football program had more support than Ole Miss' program had. When Nutt's QB graduates and all of Orgeron's recruits are gone, Ole Miss will be a bottom feeder again. No one who would take that job is going to win there for a long time. It is a stepping stone or a graveyard. No elite coach is going to stay in Oxford for 10years---that's a fact.

You say that your information is credible and then say that you have a better understanding because you live in Oxford? Does the internet work differently in Oxford? What do you have access to, other than local rumors, that we wouldn't have access to? Crappy local MS talk radio? You've got to be kidding.

That's fine. I'm not asking for everyone to believe me. Just passing along information that we have gotten straight from Marlon Brown while at The Library Bar and Grill. I'm not making up facts for my own kicks.

If I was here to make up facts, I would also say that Reuben Randle is in the bag and that Jamaal Berry was a shoo-in.

Believe what you wish. Doesn't matter to me one way or another.

Dude, there is a thread titled "Marlon Brown"..... Feel free to take a peek!

I know this seems hard to believe, but when you live in the same town as where the recruits visit and they're out on the town at the same time as I am along with other alumni, it's easier to get information.

I'm not sure what the hell talk radio and my internet have to do with anything.

I'm here on the weekends when the recruits are all over Oxford. It's not a big town. Their presence is very much known when they are announced in a bar or are being paraded around at a basketball game.

Your gonna have to come with something stronger than that.

We have no chance with PP because we got in too late.

But ya'll come in late and push UGA out of the way, and make it Ole Miss and UT for Marlon?

Confusing.
