Patterson is NOT going to be a big YAC guy...he'll get a lot of jump balls and routes over the middle of the field...I just don't see him getting thrown the jail break screen a bunch.

Interview with Patterson's mom on scout. When asked about UT's involvement in the recruiting lately she said that they have not been as involved as Bama, Southern Miss, and MSU.
She didn't talk nearly as much about UT as she did the other three schools.

He still has to visit USM, MSU, and UT.

eeewwww...you got me. It's a message board and that's my opinion. So if you don't like it then maybe you shouldn't read message boards. Plus, I would love for Patterson to prove me wrong because that would mean he worked on his game and got better. I was in no way saying that he is a bad reciever. In fact he's my fave of all the UT targets...I, like many others, believe his style of play is better suited in a pro style O as opposed to the spread...where his talents and strengths would be minimized.

i wasnt trying to call you out or anything man.. dont take it personally. it just seemed like u were questioning his thoughts on what offense he would like to play in basing it off of what you thought he would be good at... i was just stating that he wouldnt want to be in an offense that didnt suit what he thinks he is good at.

I think you're confusing Ole Miss and State. Pat is not visiting State. He committed to them early and decommited after the 3-2 Auburn win.

I've heard a lot about Ole Miss too. Supposedly they have a slight lead over Bama and Southern Miss, and we're in a pretty distant 4th.

Alshon is the guy I keep forgetting about. I don't even think he has his own thread. We need one. He's a guy I think we have a decent shot at. Better than South Carolina does anyway.

The Tahd think they will get everyone they get to come to T-Town

He'll more than likely ink with Ole Miss. We've been recruiting much longer than UT and Bammer. That's not the reason we'll ink him but we're very very confident he's ours to lose.

Bammer has a better chance for Reuben Randle. I don't expect them to get Pat.

True. But between Nick Saban and Houston Nutt, Saban will get the recruit 90% of the time.

Randle will go to LSU methinks. I don't consider us a serious contender for Patterson at this point, but a visit to the Hill tends to turn things in our favor quite quickly very frequently.
