I would venture to say that Ole Miss has the better academics but not by much. I think we can provide a nice combination of academics/comfort level.

"Everyone is still even with me. Alabama made a great impression, but I have no favorites right now. It is going to come down to all of my officials, and Alabama did a great job hosting me. I have Southern Miss (16th), Ole Miss (23rd) and Tennessee (30th) left for visits. The place I feel the most comfortable and the place that has the best academic situation is where I am going to wind up."
Tennessee's 2008 average ACT for incoming freshmen was nearly 27, while Ole Miss's was around 23. 23 is where UT was about 8-10 years ago, before the implementation of the Hope scholarship. GPA/program rankings etc. reflect UT's superiority as well. Sorry, always have to stick up for academics at the ol' alma mater.
Maze is pretty good, he's more of a slot reciever. B.J. Scott should be real good, but other than that they have a bunch of unproven guys.
